We needed to buy a new washer and dryer quickly because we were moving into our house. We did some research beforehand, told the staff what we wanted, and Hanna found the right washer, dryer, and pedestals, including a pedestal washer. They gave us several discounts, did a great job, and scheduled delivery to our house with removal of the old appliances in two days. Everyone there was very nice, and the store was clean and orderly. We had a great experience using the pickup service at our local Lowe's! Ordering online was simple, and our items were ready quickly. When we arrived, the pickup process was smooth and easy, and the staff member who helped us was friendly and efficient. It's such a convenient option when you know what you need and want to get in and out without spending a lot of time inside the store. I've never been to a Lowe's that looked like a hurricane went through it. The shelves were a disaster throughout the store. Boxes on carts left in the middle of isles. I went in for a garage door remote. I checked before I went and they stated online they had 8 of them. Found them and they had zero. Looked online again it said 8 and the clerk I asked said they had zero. Did get a few other items and they had 1 cashier with 10 people in line. Sad place. read more

Absolutely worst experience I have ever had. Attempting to get a dishwasher delivered and installed. The company did not communicate or show up the first day, wasting 12 hours of my time. The company has yet to show up on the second day and now say they will be won't show up until hours after our original agreed upon time. Completely unprofessional. Zero stars. I went to Lowe's today needing wood and stain for a Christmas sign I want to make. The employee in the paint section listened to what I wanted to do and gave me a lot of options eventually tinting a stain for me. It is perfect! I then had another employee help me find the perfect piece of wood. I was in and out of the store in 15 minutes with all of the supplies I needed. I am very thankful for their help. read more

Dear lowes, Every time I come specifically to this location I'm always unimpressed. I leave there after looking for things after 35 minutes, all in aisles they don't belong. On top of that - your customer service desk staff is incredibly rude and ignorant. Please have kind and respectful people represent this location. Once again I made the mistake of ordering something from them, (Christmas lights) for curbside pick-up. I'm an 81-year-old Vet that just had major cancer surgery, after waiting for 10 minutes on hold for someone to pick-up the phone, I hung up. I called to get a manager hold of a manager and was put on hold for another 5 minutes, finally, I went into the store to pick them up myself, there were 3 employers just standing around and one lady on the phone, like always. Sorry, but I interrupted her to get some help the rest was just standing around. It's too bad that they can not hire a manager that knows how to run a store of that size. read more

I sent my Mom a large amount Lowe's card, and she used it to buy products, then arranged to have them install. They contract this out to a "Handyman" business. They were a no show on the scheduled day. Lowe's said they would call her the next morning, and they didn't. Scheduled for 4 days after original date. No show then. Planned for the next day, and at that point, my mom asked for a refund of the installation fee, and she made other arrangements for installation. Just unconscionable "customer service." read more

I've never had a worse experience with any company. I still don't have the product that's been guaranteed multiple times. Multiple failed delivery attempts leading to stolen product by delivery employee leading to a promise to have it by this past Wednesday....leading to maybe next week. Complete failure for something that i should have had late January...and now its the middle of March. DO NOT order a product for delivery...you'll probably never get it. On April 16, 2017, my mother bought a Whirlpool refrigerator. It's only been 1 year and 4 months and the handle broke off when she opened the door. She isn't that strong. We had to call Whirlpool to get another handle and it is costing her $81.49. read more

I was in the Big Rapids store this afternoon looking for grass seed and fertilizer. I'm very new at all this and was unsure of what I actually needed. An Employee made contact with me and was able to answer my questions and help me find everything I needed. While talking with him I found out he was on his way home for the day. I want to let you know that this employee was more concerned about a customer getting answers and help than for him getting out on time. I found his work ethic very refreshing. On 06/20/2017 I bought the Husqvarna LC221A 163cc 21-in Self-Propelled All-Wheel Drive Residential Gas Lawn Mower with Mulching Capability. I really like the mower until today when I used it for the 3rd time and it decided to no longer run in All-Wheel Drive. I packed it up and took to back to the Big Rapids MI Lowes store were is was purchased and received my money back. After leaving the Returns Desk I went back to look for another mower. I stood in the department for 15-20 minutes waiting for one of the 3 employees that was 20 feet away from me to end their conversation about their child and family life to help me purchase another mower. In the end no one helped me and Lowes lost a $339.00 sale because I left and went to Menards of Big Rapids MI and found that no one was there to help either but at least there was a flatbed cart in the department available to use and I didn't have to walk to the other side of the build to the lumber department to get one myself. Next time I need to go to a home improvement store I WILL BE DRIVING to the Mt Pleasant Home Depot where customers get help... read more
