I keep saying that our home has the 10 year itch! First the washer went, then the garbage disposal, water heater and now the microwave! So today we decided to go to Lowe's because Dave found one he liked in Consumer Reports. So there we went, Dave, myself and my trusty companion walker lol! The store wasn't too crowded and we saw the one we liked. We found Tracey at the appliance desk and she was more than helpful! We ordered it and I applied for a Lowe's credit card. The whole process was very speedy. This microwave is warranted for 5 years. I told Dave "how old are you ? You shouldn't be worried about a warrantee lol!" Anyhow we have Home Tech service for our appliances. They are the best! So now we have to wait about 10 days to deliver and install it and take away the old one. Customer service is dead! While going into Cape Lowes a friendly employee recomended looking for a new washing machine with a "Yellow Tag". Went to appliances and found one and was told they did not deliver. Arranged for a pick up truck and help and returned to pick up the washer I paid for. Unloaded and hooked up. The Whirlpool WTW4816FW3 when plugged in only hummed and failed to illuminate the status lights. Called the store 3 times and on the third try,someone picked up and put me on hold 2 times without speaking to someone in appliances. I drove to the store, explained to the service desk and when they called back to the the department explaining the machine was not working and making a noise an​idiot responded "is making a clothes washing noise." Instructed to walk back to the appliances where a black woman was at the counter who argued over all the points the sales girl made when selling this machine. They refused to pick up the failed machine after calling for a manager. I was told they typically don't refund marked down but would this time. What!? I buy it 2 hours ago, take it home, hook up and it's dead?!! So you knowingly sell inoperative equipment?!! Our washing machine decided to give up the ghost. Checked online first. Lowe's seemed to have the best prices. Went to the Cape Coral Lowe's and found a good washer that was on sale. Appliance person was very nice. She told me that they had a $50 haul away fee. Or if I wanted the washer moved to the curb, that was free. I chose that option. I was pleased to find that I could get delivery the next day! When I got home I got a couple texts confirming purchase and delivery times. But was told that I needed to move the washer myself before delivery of new washer. I texted that I was told that moving the washer to the curb was a free service. After much back and forth, I was told I needed to do the $50 haul away fee or move the washer myself. So that was very misleading and a waste of my time. Having said that, delivery was seamless. Delivery men were super efficient and very courteous. read more

I told him the kind of wood I was interested in and he helped me find it no problem. I could tell he was sort of new but I saw great ambition, and desire to help me. Wait on the phone for representative who has no authority and/or no common sense to offer a fair discount for their failure to provide what was originally sold so now at their expense, they get to have someone come back out and give us our money back. Service after purchase. Purchased a dishwasher paid for installation. Dishwasher stopped working after five weeks. They do not accept responsibility for anything demanded I pay for a repair. I think that's a very poor business practice given that it was five weeks after they installed it and I should mention I had fallen ill and had not used the dishwasher and that's why it took me five weeks to find out it wasn't functioning properly. Store 2361. Overcharges and refuses to refund $10.00 On 6/16/24 visited this store to pick up3 hybiscus plants, overcharged on 2. One was 24.98 and the others were marked 16.98 The cashier only scanned the first tag .Got home and the landscaper had already started planting them. when I checked my receipt 'I took pictures of the plants, tags and container, along with receipt thinking Lowes would accept as proof when we went back for more supplies. That was not the case. I was told we have to review tapes to see where u got the plants from. Then told maybe my plants were marked wrong, I asked well, give me a store credit, the answer was no. I placed an order at this store for delivery on 1/7/2023. The automated system called said it was Lowe's and a delivery then it disconnected. I have been on hold for 34 minutes. They pickup and put it back on hold. I am so disappointed in the service this center provides including the rude associate's on the day I made the purchase for delivery. I am now forced to sit home all day waiting for a delivery because nobody will answer the phone including the manage. Customer service starts with your leadership in the store. DO NOT ORDER WINDOWS FROM LOWES! I ordered windows in August 2022. SEVEN MONTHS LATER, in March 2023, the windows came in and the installers found that the order had four windows sized incorrectly and two others were missing. The new windows have been sitting in their store since, at least, May 22, 2023. Lowes Installation Services have repeatedly told me that they were in contact with a new installer, the installer would be reaching out to me within 48hrs and that Lowes would be calling me back to confirm. NONE OF THAT HAS HAPPENED. I now see that my window installation permit with the City of Cape Coral has EXPIRED. NOBODY CAN TELL ME WHAT IS GOING ON. Where do I go to pick up my windows??? In 2018 I bought 7 new appliances for my home and purchased 5 year extended warranties for each one. Evidently Lowes changed over their systems and wiped out all my warranties numbers needed to file a claim. My dishwasher has been broken for a month and the Assistant manager at this store has had not luck helping me even though he tried his very best and I commend him for going above and beyond. I spent over $800 on warranties and now I have nothing. They stole over $800 from me for warranties I don't have. Not even VIP Customer Relations at Lowes can help and they are the last line of help for the consumer. I asked to speak with Brian WOlf the VP of Customer Relations and he did not call me. This is affecting customers nationwide. For Brian Wolf not to call me doesn't bode well for Lowes Customer Service since he is the head guy. I am on my second BBB complaint about this. Lowes closed the first one after saying the took care of me when they did nothing. I filed a FTC complaint today. Lowes is committing fraud and they won't help. I bought an impact door for nearly $1800.00 plus an additional $920.00 for permit and installation on Dec. 22nd, 2022. I've been to Lowes multiple times to inquire on the status. I was always told they are waiting for the permit. 2 weeks ago (04/22/2023) I went to the City of Cape Coral permitting Office and they told me the permit was issued on March 1, 2023. I went to Lowes and they told me someone would call me to set up the appointment. They called and told me that they were working on it. Today is May 1, and still no door or resolution. I ordered new hurricane proof patio doors after Hurricane *** along with 8 of my neighbors, 6 which blew in from the hurricane. I had the doors installed and called the salesman after saying that i had issues with the installation. I had to then take off 7 days of my vacation to meet the morons that Lowe's uses for installation. Seven times they came out to fix the doors. That is seven separate days I took off from work to meet the installers. They never brought the parts 4 of the times even though they were in the store as I called and verified. Such a nice place. I must have been asked four different times by four different employees If I needed any help. I don't think it was because I looked lost, haha, that's just how nice they are. I loved the organization of the entire store. Everything was very easy to find. The departments were all very coordinated and mapped out. The aisles were clean and everything was easy to find. The only reason why I'm giving this Lowe's four stars instead of five was because their succulent selection in the garden section was not the greatest. They had bigger succulents but not a wide variety of them. I understand that not every home improvement store with a garden section can have what I am looking for. But if a store is going to carry succulents with a section for them, specifically, maybe carry a bit more variety. Maybe the succulents were out of season? I'm not sure. I would have to do more research on it. Also, I love the garden sections of stores but I will admit, this Lowe's garden section did not "grab me" as many others have. John & Tom are the tile guys, both gentleman are very hard workers and knowledgeable in their departments. Cashier: Pam is very friendly and respectful and caring. Customer Service: Kimmi is very thoughtful, caring and nice. On the other hand Dave: department manager. I didn't really enjoy being around him. Not very friendly, he seems like a downer and isn't really my kind of guy to come to for assurance. I recommend other employees in the store than going to him. If he was last on the list for coming to for help, I'd leave the store and go to the other lowes or something, I would never go to him again. Very rude. Other than those members, I'd say the store is really big and nice, but Lowes had always been a high priced store. I would rather go to Home Depot all the time but I live closer to Lowes. Ordered a door wall with three months advance notice to get it installed. We don't live at the house, so the install had to happen when we were at the house. In three months, the permit was not issued and nobody followed up. We find this out on our day of install, so we called the city, got the permit and had 3 days remaining where they could have came to do the job, but they didn't, so now we have to wait until the next time we are down to get the door installed. This place has corporate buffoonery written all over it. You probably need to fire everybody managing the store and all corporate. Find people who make an effort and care. read more

We bought a SS refrigerator from Lowe's- it arrived and the door has a big dent in the center They are supposed to deliver a new appliance or at least replace the door today The delivery window is 5pm to 9pm Quite a wide window!! Usually the window for delivery is 2-3 hrs My husband called at 7pm and at 8pm to check on the delivery It is now after 9pm and still no delivery The store closes at 9pm so there is no manager to speak with My husband just got off the phone with the delivery staff and they say it should be delivered by 11pm !!! Meanwhile, we are paying someone by the hour to take delivery of this appliance- so not only are we inconvenienced but now it is costing us money for a mistake made by Lowe's!!!
