A call to Chuck the supervisor, who was very professional, indicated no special order was needed. He said that All Pro had the correct 12 inch toilet in stock and could schedule the installation at our convenience. We set up 12/31/25 for the change out and Jeremiah was excellent. He kept us informed with every step, explained what material he was using to seal the toilet to the floor, took the old toilet away and completely and thoroughly cleaned up the area after the installation was complete. He provided excellent service.

I had observed none recently. On further investigation, I did have a serious wastewater backup. I suspected that it was due to Comcast installing fiber optics in the neighborhood, drilling in the area of water/sewer pipes. So, the rest of the afternoon, Hunter worked with a camera and an auger to locate the blockage. He located it, but it was the lateral under my neighbor's driveway, which needed to be resolved by the utility company. Hunter asked me to let him know the outcome. It turned out to be a big deal. Indeed, the clay pipe was broken by Comcast's subcontractor drilling to install fiber duct. So, I knew there would be finger-pointing the like. I got it resolved, after a call to the PSC and a lot of back-and-forth. Sunshine Water sucked out the sewer and repaired the cracked pipe. I texted Hunter when the repair was complete, sending him photos of the cracked Clay pipe. I had shared his report with Sunshine Water, which gave them confidence in locating the break. This was very helpful because they couldn't get a camera in there due to the pipe being full of *(**&*&*. After I texted Hunter, he called me to ask how it went. I gave him the lowdown. In my long experience with home repair contractors and service companies, I have rarely encountered employees like Hunter. He left a job with loose ends beyond his control, but he cared enough about the job to want to know how it was resolved. Please thank him for me. And if I need plumbing services in the future, Modern Plumbing Industries is who I'll be dealing with. They're straight shooters, they communicate, they show up, and they have employees who give a damn. Thanks for staying family-owned!

Considered an essential business, (thank God, we live in Florida where it's a sauna!!) they…read moreanswered my call for a checkup and an evaluation for cooling the garage. So happy they are open during the quarantine/covid-19. They were able to come sooner than I could accommodate, so we agreed on Thursday. Two guys came out, one was training the other to be on his own soon. It was an all day affair. One of my units checked out fine. The other one had some issues so they had to drain the Freon and check it out. I asked if they wouldn't mind cleaning up the squirrel skeleton under the unit. The young guy straight up said no! The older guy chuckled, grabbed my trash bag and went up and cleared it all out. So thankful! They were very considerate of my carpet etc. Protec installed my hot water heater which is why I called them for my AC needs. I figure, if they can do plumbing and AC, they can figure out how to cool my garage. As it turned out, I needed a separate appointment for evaluation for the air conditioning install. They are not allowed to tee off my existing unit into the garage. It's illegal. So I called and they said they could send someone out on Monday. The guy came and we talked about the options. We agreed on a new install and he was able to schedule me that week, Thursday. The team of three guys, the one who grabbed the squirrel carcass, and two other men came on Thursday and installed the unit. They were here all day, but as promised, they did it in one day. They had some issues with the wrong piping and had to redo it. They also made a small hole in the garage wall for the drainage pipe that didn't work out, so they have to come back and plug the hole. They also need to come back and cover the pipes. They didn't have everything for this custom project. The idea for the garage to be cooled is to take the edge of in the summer when I work out, not to cool It all the time. It works amazing. It has a remote control. A thermostat install would be an extra charge, but you could get it WiFi compatible and control it from your phone. Protec has an optional membership which can be tailored to your needs and is priced out depending on what you want and how many units you have. I joined. It includes 15% off plumbing and AC repairs. Hope I don't need to use that benefit. They're really good about calling and emailing. They will communicate both ways or whatever you prefer. Very professional. I would recommend them. You might get a better price with someone else, but you won't get the same warranty and guarantee.

During the maintenance, my attic air handler was never inspected. I was also charged in full for a proposed UV light installation and other work before it was performed. Because my AC issues remained unresolved, I canceled the installation and am currently disputing that charge with my credit card company. Since then, I have called, texted, and emailed the company requesting assistance and asking for an itemized invoice for the services performed on June 29. Despite my repeated attempts, I have received no response. As of today, I am still waiting. Good customer service doesn't end when payment is collected. At the very least, I expected follow-up. Unfortunately, my experience has been silence.

Four Towns Plumbing…read moreinstalled two toilet in my home just a few months ago, and for a while, we kept seeing water on the floor but couldn't figure out where it was coming from. After about a month or so, we realized one of the toilets was leaking. Turns out, one of the wax rings has already failed which is not normal and is clearly due to poor installation. A properly installed wax ring should last for years, not a couple of months. There's no reason this should be happening this soon. So I called them to get this fixed and they told me the repair wouldn't be covered under any sort of warranty and quoted me $245 to fix their own mistake. What a joke. I explained that this happened only a few months after they installed both toilets, and when I said I would be leaving a review based on my experience, they laughed. After checking their reviews, I've found other 1-star reviews describing the same issue so it's clear this isn't an isolated situation. It's a pattern of poor workmanship and zero accountability. Save your money and avoid this company. They don't stand behind their work, and the customer service is completely unprofessional. Hope this helps!

On the rescheduled day, Scott called again, this time to ask if the tech could come 30 minutes before the schedule window (of course!). Francesco was professional and knowledgeable - he alerted me to an ant problem around the unit, and a potential big problem if a critter gets into the board and shorts it. Cleaned up the unit and gave me a few useful tips on keeping it running in tip-top shape. The annual maintenance contract is $200, covering 2 visits. This has the feel of a company I can trust. I will continue to use and recommend them.
