The robot lives here, I guess, so the procedure was scheduled for 9-10-26. From the staff to the nurses to the doctors, everyone here was wonderful. They made me feel well cared for and helped me get back on my feet after the surgery. I cannot remember every name of every nurse who helped me over the two days I was there, but a few stand out. A nice lady named Essie, a lady named Caroline (and yes, i made the "sweet Caroline" gag when she introduced herself... sorry), and another nurse called Jackie. And a lady named Jenny who gave me an IV, literally the smoothest IV I have ever received. I literally didnt even feel the stick! Needles dont bother me, but I usually feel the poke. She is apparently magic or something. Obviously I hope you are in good health and never need to go to hospital. But when you do, this place ranks high with me in terms of care, staff, and state-of-the-art technology like a rad surgery robot. I nicknamed him KD-NY because of course I'm a Star Wars dork, lol. Thanks USMD. This was a scary time and now that I'm on the mend, I feel blessed to have been given the opportunity to meet so many wonderful caregivers who work on this space. God bless yall!

During our conversation, she repeatedly stretched her glove directly in front of her face, which made the interaction feel awkward and uncomfortable. I was also told I would receive a different prescription for pain management, but only over-the-counter medications were sent in. When I later spoke with the director, Dr. Lee, he explained that Dr. Huynh did not have prescription privileges in their system to prescribe anything stronger for my pain, which seems inadequate for patients seeking treatment at an ER. He also told me that if I wanted stronger pain medication, I would need to return to the ER and receive it only while there, as he would not prescribe even a short-term supply despite the injury being recent and until I could see a specialist for my back injury. Dr. Lee and I spoke for about 45 minutes while I advocated for better pain management, explaining that I was already taking over-the-counter medication in amounts similar to the higher doses he was recommending, without relief. After a long discussion, he finally agreed to prescribe a steroid, although I was surprised that a steroid injection for inflammation was never offered while I was at the ER. Unfortunately, the doctors at this facility were not very helpful in addressing or managing the painful condition I was experiencing from a recent back injury.
