I completed a sleep study at this clinic approximately a year ago. The technician who conducted the study was professional and courteous. During the study, I was fitted with several masks, and we determined that a nasal mask appeared to be the best option for me. Not long after the study, I received a call informing me that the sleep study had not been completed correctly and that I would need to return for another test. I was then told the repeat study would cost approximately $175. I was shocked by this. If the original study was not performed correctly, I did not understand why I would be expected to pay for a second study. When I questioned the charge, I explained that the mistake was not mine. After my concerns were raised, I was informed that the doctor had decided not to repeat the study after all. What made even less sense to me was that instead of performing a new sleep study, I was placed on a BiPAP machine. I struggled with the machine from the beginning and never felt that it was helping me. I was told that the machine could be monitored and adjusted remotely, yet I was later asked to bring the machine into the office for adjustments. To be fair, one staff member I dealt with during this process was very kind, professional, and respectful. She took the time to review my machine and make adjustments. I appreciated her efforts. However, I was charged additional fees for these visits and was told I would need to continue returning for further adjustments. As someone living on disability income and dealing with severe chronic pain, repeated office visits and recurring charges created a financial burden that was difficult to justify, especially when I had been told the machine could be adjusted remotely. The biggest concern I have is that I was told the original sleep study was not done correctly, yet I was never given the opportunity to have the study properly repeated before being placed on a BiPAP machine. To this day, I do not understand why a corrected sleep study was not performed. Another concern is that throughout this entire process, I never personally met with the doctor. Every interaction was through assistants or staff members. Unfortunately, after months of frustration, I stopped using the BiPAP because it did not appear to be helping me. I am now seeking another sleep specialist and discussing alternative treatment options with my primary care physician. My advice to anyone considering this clinic is to ask detailed questions about repeat testing, follow-up charges, equipment adjustments, insurance billing, and exactly how treatment decisions are made if there are problems with the original sleep study. This experience left me with more questions than answers, and I ultimately lost confidence in the care I received.

My scores are now 100% almost every night. Dr. Dennis and his staff are amazing. They are all experts and very knowledgeable about CPAP therapy. I wouldn't go anywhere else. They are the best. My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Dennis for 16 years. If you have sleep apnea or think you might, go see Dr. Dennis and his staff. You won't be disappointed.

Using e-checkin on MyChart, patient portal, made for a smooth checkin at the front desk. Appointment was exactly on time when called back by doctors' medical assistant, Ambria. She was friendly, nice smile, and very professional. Tracy, was responsible for the detailed ultrasounds for today's visit which were done within office. Made it nice and convenient. Tracy was thorough and answered all my questions. Very knowledgeable and seemed to really loved her job. Dr Hohmann was a pleasure to meet. Asked a lot of questions concerning my past treatment plan with another physician office. Dr offered a new approach to help with legs and feet swelling. Also set up follow-up visit next month for in office procedure. Ambria came back to ensure there were no more questions and walked me to checkout desk. Appointment was 2 1/2 hours long. Public parking next to building was convenient. However, credit card Only - no attendant - ticket receipt did not print for insurance. No one to contact. :-(

Though I wasn't able to eat or drink the break room area adjacent to entry/check in provided vending machine goodies and drinks. With free coffee and baked chocolate chip, peanut butter and sugar cookies. Nice! Within minutes from checking in the nurse came to take me to pre-op. She wasn't too engaging with an early morning dry approach that changed to a bit more engaging when I refused to remove my yellow knit cap for their paper blue. *Lol* Jennifer, Gladys, Doc P and anesthesiologist made me feel very welcomed, comfortable and in good care. My procedure per Doc P went very well. Aftercare staff was attentive and informative along with assisting for release. If I had to use this USMD again I wouldn't hesitate due to the Nice, Clean facility with Warm and Friendly staff.

The staff was helpful and friendly. The operation went well and my dad is already enjoying his improved vision. The other eye will be scheduled in a week or two. Note: The driver is expected to stay nearby, so if the rather noisy waiting room does not do it for you, there's a Starbucks and a Firehouse Subs within walking distance (on Rosedale).

I have been dealing…read morewith the Attorney since and they finally reached the deadline to file so I had to find doctors through my insurance. I attempted to come here. I scheduled my appointment for 3 whenever I got there. I didn't know where to go so I had called and let them know. I am here for my appointment. I just don't know where the office is and they informed me that my appointment was actually at 2. Even though as soon as I had called them, I had my Notes app ready to write down the date and time. When I got put in a room, the staff who was asking me questions wasn't asking the correct questions. She kept back peddling and having to ask different questions after she asked the wrong ones understandable accidents happen mistakes happen we are human. Even though the staff members weren't very professional I stayed to be seen by the doctor. As soon as he walked in the room, he stated "you're way too young to be here" and not in a joking manner. More in a sense of why are you here at 21 not really the best way to be greeted by a medical professional. Even so I spoke with him about what might possibly help told him what was hurting how it was explained that I have received treatment. I have MRIs and everything and I explained to him I have three herniated disc in my neck alone before he ever did a physical test he had told me I'm going to prescribe you steroids along with stomach medicine to help with nausea that comes from the steroids. After he stated that he said, " you're depressed, aren't you?" and I am informed him yes, but I am going to a therapist for it. He proceeded to then ask, " would you like me to prescribe you antidepressants as well?" that statement alone coming from a pain management doctor is concerning in my opinion, especially after they heard that I am going to a therapist for my mental health. After he asked me that question and obviously I said no he started the physical test had me rock in a straight line to the wall and then told me to bend over and touch my toes. I turned my back towards the wall. I was maybe a 2 feet away from it. And bent over as soon as I bent over, he had came up behind me and put his hand on my back the other hand on my shoulder without warning, he bent me back further than I can even bend, and then proceeded to feel my stomach, and then put his hand on top of my head and used a good amount of force to the point where I was physically, unable to stand up straight due to him, forcing my head down he was compressing my neck into my shoulders and he did that for a good few minutes while moving it around still with the same amount of pressure. I left in more pain than I walked in with. I will never go back here and I suggest anyone near my age does not as well because apparently he only cares about elderly patients.
