I found Texas Medical Diagnostics on Google I wanted a sleep study and TMD looked good to me. I called make sure they took my insurance got an appointment right away for a evaluation. After approval you do a sleep over. The sleep over is not easy they hook you up to all kinds of equipment then tell you to go to sleep. I think I slept a little. I was told it was good enough to get the information they needed. The TMD did a good job with everything the staff are very nice and helpful. Everything is explained very well. They will make you an appointment for whenever you want. They will work with on a date and time. The sleeping rooms are nice and clean good beds. The waiting room is stark just some seats against the wall. Some décor would be nice. If you want to get checked out for a sleeping disorder I would give them a try. read more

With Covid-19 happening, I'm glad to say this facility is one of the cleanest places I've stepped foot into. The sheets are super clean and the beds are temperpedic. Zero stars.Referred for a sleep study. TMD said they were waiting insurance approval, I called insurance no pre authorization was needed for the home study. Finally got home study, then almost 2 months later finally was scheduled for a 4 minute release visit to the tune of $300 to tell me results and that I needed a CPAP (my doc had results in a week and told me all this already). Three separate emails telling me three different companies were handling my file. Finally figured out which company and they have never heard of me. TMD tells me to deal directly with the CPAP provider that will only take the order for the CPAP from TMD that has washed their hands of all this. I still don't have a CPAP. Run hard, run far away from this place. read more

Worst service and attitude of any provider. I did their at home sleep study and back today for the results. What a joke. Spent another $50 for their office visit. The girl at the desk was rude. Had me wait 20 minutes past appointment time. Everyone in the waiting room had problems with them and their service. Other patients were very vocal and all unhappy. The PA Tara, started telling me a lot of info and I ask her if she knew what I had done for the study. Oops. She didn't know. So she started down another road of treatment that may or may not help me. This office is a joke and part of the worst medical provides around. read more

This is the most unprofessional group of people I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. They hardly ever follow up and when I call to get information I am either placed on endless hold or transferred through the system until I hang up and start over. My doctor placed an order in December and I was informed in February that they don't know what happened, but I could call another 800# to see what happened. This is their typical m.o. I have had enough and will not refer anyone to them nor will I be a future client. read more

I went to the sleep lab on Terrell St in Ft. Worth, walked through the door at 9:18. My appointment was at 9:15. Jennifer met me at the door escorted me in, informed me that she was the technician assigned to me for the duration. She explained everything to me. I had a hard time settling down the 1st half of the test. She came in helped settle me down, the second half went as I was told they hopped the whole night would go. She woke me periodically to adjust my mouth piece and I would immediately go back to sleep. When she woke me at 5:00 am she told me that I was sleeping so well that she hated to wake me. I was kind of concerned when she told me that I was her 1st patient with a mouth piece, after I settled down we made it fine September 23rd 2020 read more

The personnel and facilities on Omega Dr. are okay. My concerns: The notification call for tomorrow's appointment is a monotone woman who sounds like she hates her job. I swear it's the same person each year. Every time I go in, I have to answer the same, exact questions. They could put these online and save all of us some time. I make my copayment, yet (for the last 3 years) I get a "Final Notice" 3 or 4 moths later saying I owe them just a little bit more. I wouldn't mind except the notice is a little threatening... and they blame me because they didn't calculate my copayment accurately. Then I go sit in a room for 10 minutes waiting for the Dr. He always asks the same questions (Feeling alright, problems sleeping? Problems with CPAP? etc,) tells me the readout from the machine which shows me what I already know - that I sleep about 5 hours per night, etc. returns my machine, has me set up another appointment for a year from now and and sends me on my way. Why doesn't TMD consider coming into the at least the 20th century and have a questionnaire online, let me download the CPAP data onto a card and mail it in? Oh yes, they couldn't charge as much for that. Bottom line, the facilities and the doctors and assistants at the facility on Omega Dr. are great, their waiting room could use some air conditioning, but their outmoded procedures and administrative customer service from their main office is lacking. read more

I will never ever EVER come back here again. At first everything was great from the sleep studies and to getting my CPAP. Then I met Dr. Grimes and as I was explaining what I needed for work accommodation and my short term disability he had this expression as if I was annoying him. Then tells me it is $150 to re-do my paperwork again because it would not make any sense to HIM to have HIM re-fill the paperwork for the same thing. I requested my notes and medical chart info and left I will never come back here. If you have to come here only work with Stephanie Billings the nurse practitioner she is empathetic, nice, and understanding, not Dr. Grimes. read more

Worst business ever, their equipment for the home sleep study did not work 3 times. I finally spoke to the office manager and she stated she was aware of this and the equipment was sent in for servicing. Meanwhile, I was told my insurance would not be billed and that was not true - they billed my insurance. The 4th time of the home sleep study worked, after the equipment had been serviced. I contacted them regarding the billing and they would not budge. I have since contacted my insurance company. They also billed my insurance for a doctor visit, why should I pay for a doctor visit, when no one had the courtesy to call me to advise the study failed (due to their equipment failing). It should have been billed as a nurse visit, better yet get the results of my test prior to my arrival. This was to have been corrected with the insurance and to date still has not been. Find yourself another sleep study center, this place is an absolute JOKE!!!!!! If i was able to give a "0", I would have!!! read more
