I've ordered a few times from DoorDash, and it's either great or really lacking. Once, I ordered my regular panini and it was burnt to black. I called and they were nice enough, but it was crazy how they sent it out looking. Then I had 3-4 positive experiences until today. I ordered the same sandwich, and asked for extra pesto spread. We visit the West location of Loving Seed every week, and it has become one of our favorite spots. My boys absolutely love the açaí bowls--they say they're the best around! It was a bit difficult finding Loving Seed once you turn in from the street because there is not really a large sign that shows where they are located. I was blindly trusting my GPS looking for the spot and luckily it didn't lead me astray. Loving Seed is located right by the car wash inside the convenience store. It's a bit hot inside and I am not sure if they turn on their AC. It took a bit to acclimate to the temperature inside. I'm not sure if it will be like that as the weather continues to get hotter, but I hope not! If that's the case, I can see the hot temperature affecting the consistency of smoothies and I am not sure I would want to wait for my order with no escape from the Fresno heat. One of my favorite things to eat are acai bowls and I have been to many different places. It is something I crave on a hot day or after a tiring physical activity. I ordered the Brazilian Acai Bowl and substituted the goji berries for almonds. The toppings were well arranged and it was a cute aesthetic little bowl. There were a lot of toppings and my only comment is that I wish there was more acai base in the bowl. It looked like about two or so ice cream scoops, and it isn't enough in my opinion. There were more toppings than there were acai. It was my first time encountering this, which usually other places have the opposite problem. The portions gave me the feeling it was more like a fruit bowl, rather than an acai bowl. However, that being said, it was still delicious and I didn't leave a single crumb behind. The granola was good -- it had a good crunch, wasn't too hard or too soft, and tasted good. The cocoa nibs added a nice texture and flavor to the acai bowl, and after this experience, it has become one of my favorite toppings. I love that they offer so many different kinds of seeds/nuts, as it is my favorite thing to have. Their acai base was also really good -- it might be one of the best acai bases I've ever tried. It was smooth, thick, creamy, and had an amazing flavor. The acai paired really well with the toppings and I enjoyed every single bite. After finishing my acai bowl, I was left wanting more. It would be nice to have a bigger size available for purchase and that is surprising because I usually could not finish a bigger size. Loving Seed is definitely is one of my favorite acai bowl places and I would absolutely recommend this spot. Please put more acai base in though! Otherwise, it is absolutely perfect. As soon as we walked in, the kid behind the counter, just looked at us. No good morning, hello, no greeting at all. My husband tried to joke with him and he responded with a smart remark. So whatever, we ordered as we like to support our near by businesses. When he was done, he put the two drinks on the counter and turned away. No straws. Hella Green was Hella Good!!! Craving fresh fruit smoothie and this place delivered! For once a smoothie that doesn't have a chalky taste. Real fruit and veggies. I am a huge fan of the Loving Seed. I didn't know they had a brook and mortar store front as I always gone to their really cute vintage hippie looking truck which was at Kaiser on 01/18/23 and some old town Clovis events in 2020s. Anywho, I came to this location on 01/19/23 as I was in the area for a training. Since I was not really hungry at the time they dismissed us for lunch (but I will during 2 or 3pm) I decided to get something healthy and light. I wanted the Brazilian Açaí bowl which I had yesterday but I was really full from my breakfast this morning and goodness can't be wasted at all. I am currently sitting listening to their poppin music and cannot help to jam out to it. I seriously wish there was a location closer to my residence in Clovis and my work area (down town Fresno) .
