We went to this fabulous store and picked up a couple of carved bowls and one of their fabulous vases that are molded over scrap teak root price resulting in a unique combination of wood and glass. In addition we went out to pick up a teak serving tray on Costco.com. Next purchase will be a couple of perfectly sized rocking chairs. The Owners are super friendly and knowledgeable about their products, great small business read more

Perfect experience working with LoveTeak. Went out looking for patio furniture Sunday. We wanted something high quality, and something we can someday get 10 people gathered around if this damn pandemic ever ends. LoveTeak had the French farmhouse table of our dreams and beautiful benches and chairs to match it. Ole was super easy to work with in the showroom and great about mask wearing and distancing while we were there. About 48 hours later the table and seats were delivered. The table is extremely heavy so it was assembled in our backyard. The crew was very friendly, efficient, and good about masks and distancing again. Will likely buy from LoveTeak again when we decide to upgrade our dining room table. Let's be honest, teak isn't cheap - we spent a few grand here but got maybe the nicest patio set they had. And we expect this furniture to outlive us, so really it's only gonna cost like $8/month if we live to be 75. Not a bad deal! read more

We've purchased a bit of furniture through LoveTeak and we'd buy more if our home wasn't so small! In our opinion, they're top notch! My spouse and I spent countless hours researching all our options (polywood, powder-coated aluminum, wrought iron, redwood, cedar) and in the end, teak came out on top and LoveTeak was the best value / vendor in a long list... even more amazing that they're local! Ole (owner) is a great guy. You never get the sense he is just trying to make a sale. I mean their products are plain gorgeous and pretty high quality so he really doesn't have to peddle anything but Ole likes to get to know his customers and he is a lot of fun to talk to. I've gotten all sorts of insights into how his industry works... things most people have never thought about. It really makes you a more informed consumer. And you come away with a sense of how honest LoveTeak is as a business. If you aren't exactly sure what you want, Ole has a good sense of style and design and I found his advice to be quite helpful. He went out of his way doing things like letting us take home a couple cushions to assess whether the colors work with our backyard. A fabric swatch is nice but a whole cushion does a much better job helping you imagine what it all will look like. It definitely helped us in picking out the perfect Sunbrella fabric shade. We've really enjoyed our furniture so far and were super happy to give LoveTeak our business! read more

Totally cool owner who delivered what he promised.( sorry I forgot your name) The selection of styles and quality were impressive. We looked online at other suppliers but noticed significant differences in build quality. Some of these differences were contour of seat, angle of the back of the chair, armrest curvature and width of chair. Prices were reasonable. read more

Just bought a teakwood tree for my parents from here and it is beautiful! The owner was super responsive and helpful via text during the transaction. He even gifted my husband and I a small bench for the birth of our baby. The bench is incredibly well made and such a thoughtful gesture. We will be back. Highly recommend! read more

So happy with my outdoor patio set and the service I received from Finn who was personable, helpful and knowledgeable. We just came to look and ended up walking out with a beautiful set due to his help. Prices are good and my massive 118" table will be beautiful on my deck. read more

We were looking for some outdoor patio furniture for our new home. We had considered going through amazon but looked at yelp for suggestions. The reviews looked good for loveteak so we decided to give it a try. So glad we did. Ole, the owner, gave us a lot of attention and was honest with his advice on the best furniture. We had thought we wanted one design, but he explained why this would not be the best decision. It was even more affordable than what we had seen on line. We were so lucky to go and talk with him. We bought a gorgeous table, chairs he had designed, and felt good about supporting a local business. We went back later and purchased a beautiful bench. We received just as much attention as from our first visit. If you need real teak furniture, this should be your first stop. WE LOVETEAK! read more

I purchased a table with chairs this past weekend. The owner was very polite and respectful. He took the time to let us consider all our options and was patient throughout the purchasing process. Hoping to have the set delivered within the next couple of days. Thank you for a wonderful experience. When we decide to change out the outdoor sofa sectional we will definitely consider LoveTeak read more

My parents and I visited LoveTeak in search of a memorial bench for my little brother 6 weeks after he passed away tragically. The owner of the store helped us and must have sensed our pain and asked about the purpose of the bench. He comforted us with some kind words and three free (gorgeous) teak bowls. What he didn't know is my brother collected bowls just like that. The experience at LoveTeak made the memorial bench that much more special. I encourage everyone to support this wonderful business. read more

We were looking for Teak furniture for our beach house. We looked online and at various spots but could not find the solid quality we were looking for. My brother recommended LoveTEAK. We had an amazing experience working with LoveTEAK. I was able to stop in and buy exactly what we needed. The owner, Ole is very kind, helpful, and super knowledgeable. He clearly runs a great business. We bought a table with two benches and a sitting bench for our front yard area. LoveTeak delivered everything (at a Very reasonable delivery price), within 2 weeks. We are beyond thrilled about our new outdoor furniture. I kind of want to keep them inside they are so beautiful!. Fantastic teak furniture at a very good price. I highly recommend stopping in. I ordered 3 teak benches from Loveteak on-line after doing lots of research about quality teak furniture. Loveteak seemed to have the best-made I could find and I ordered 3 benches on-line. I guess I didn't realize that the store was right here in PDX, so I texted to see if I could save the $150 delivery charge and pick them up myself. I immediately received a text back from Ole, the owner, who was actually in Southeast Asia at the time looking for new teak lines he could represent in his shop. He immediately refunded the $150 and hooked me up with Chris who had my benches ready for pick-up at the store the next day. Spectacular customer service from Ole and Chris. The furniture itself is superb. First of all, it's real teak, not another wood sold as "teak." Second, the benches are contoured to slope a bit toward the middle of the seating area making these benches vastly more comfortable than a standard flat bench. Third, the wood is solid and has a nice heft to it. Finally, though the legs are bolted onto the top by either Chris or the consumer, the benches are exceptionally solid. Most furniture made today is flimsy disposable uncomfortable "crap," for lack of a better word. These benches remind me of the fabulously constructed and indestructible old McGuire furniture of the 70's which is still made, but to lower standards today. Loveteak has simply the best, well-made and most comfortable outdoor real teak furniture available and is right here in PDX. A treasure-trove. Thanks Ole and Chris! Steve K. read more

We loved our experience at Loveteak! We were unsure of what we were looking for and Ole patiently worked with us to select the best couch at the best price. He was incredibly helpful and kind, we were very impressed by his work ethic and commitment to his customers. We've had our outdoor couch for a few months now and couldn't be happier about our purchase...teak isn't cheap but Loveteak's selection is priced well, high quality, and provides a lot of value. Just bought a 5 piece outdoor teak set from LoveTeak that we absolutely love! After browsing numerous brand-name stores and websites, we found LoveTeak's website and contacted them to see if a particular set was still available. The owners had planned on closing the shop that day for the season and were flying out of the country the next day but agreed to meet us afterhours to browse the store. Needless to say, they have an AMAZING selection for VERY reasonable prices (the store is much larger than it appears from the outside). It was exactly what the wife and I were looking for. We bought the items right there and then and the owners had it delivered the next day FOR FREE! We have had numerous compliments on our furniture already and I've been telling everyone about this store. It's a great feeling when you're able to support a small, local, family-owned store AND get a great product for a great price!!! Win-Win. Not to mention that the owners are incredibly kind and considerate. Please check them out! read more

This place is amazing! Love the furniture, great owners, excellent advice. Definitely a find!

Quilty products at a great price. We went there looking for outdoor furniture and ended up getting more then we planned. Highly recommended and would send anyone there who's looking for some great teak furniture. We'll be back soon. read more

What a find!! We were looking for a new patio set and wanted to avoid the metal ones because of the constant maintenance. LoveTeak has an amazing selection of beautiful, functional, and if you choose--zero maintenance deck furniture. If you do not oil the furniture, it ages naturally in a couple of years to a silvery gray. It can be stored outside in Oregon winters. It is all built of solid teak, no veneers in this stuff. Many styles come in two grades, A and C, with C being somewhat less expensive. But even the C grade will stand up to outside use according to the owners of Love Teak. Who by the way are very nice people and very easy to do business with. If you are looking for high quality patio furniture at a reasonable price, take a look at their products. read more

We traveled to Portland from Ashland, OR to buy from Ole. He was amazing. Took a great deal of time out to help us with the purchase of a love seat, coffee table, sofa, chair with ottoman, side table, and dinning set (5 chairs, table, bench). He helped load all of this furniture into a trailer for our drive back south. He was amazing with our little boys and incredibly generous. We are in love with our outdoor furniture and the quality it has added to our home. We spend must time outside relaxing. It was truly a great experience and worth the 8 hours round trip for the great furniture and prices. read more

Fell in love with this place on a cursory, research visit and finally returned this weekend to purchase two outdoor lounge chairs, a table and four chairs. They threw in the most beautiful teak log/end table. The owner took his time carefully explaining the pros and cons of the different furniture and at times steered us away from more expensive options he thought we didn't really need. We plan to return for some furniture to go around the fire pit. I highly recommend supporting this long-time, local Portland business. read more

This place is great. Ole, who helped us, was terrific, making sure the beautiful table and six chairs we purchased would fit into our car for the drive home in another state. The selection here is large, the products of good quality and the prices unbeatable. Check it out. read more

We had such a wonderful experience with loveTEAK. Ole and Chris are both so friendly and down to earth. Ole spent such a long time with us, making sure that we had the right pieces for our space, and he and Chris even changed out a piece for us once we had things delivered, to be sure it fit our space well. Clearly they are not in it "for the sale," but rather to find something that will really work for us. I will remember Ole and Chris! The furniture is absolutely stunning, with such a wide selection, and extremely comfortable. I expect that it will last many many years. read more

I started looking at purchasing teak patio furniture when I realized that my existing (admittedly bland) glass table top & metal/plastic set was already looking worn after just a couple years. Everything I saw online said that teak furniture would last a long time, look good for years, & was naturally resistant to mold/mildew/pests. I truly thought that what I wanted was WAY out of my budget (did I mention that I looked at some teak patio sets online?). I found a set that I ABSOLUTELY loved but still forced myself to see what a much cheaper competitor (that happens to be really close by) had there. There really was no comparison. The furniture at Loveteak may be a bit more expensive than the nearby "competitor" (this comes from someone who shops almost obsessively at Goodwil) but there is such a HUGE difference in quality that comparing the two really isn't fair. And when I looked at sets comparable to what I got at online retailers, they were about 3 times what I paid for my set. Now is probably a good time to say that I LOVE the furniture I bought & can't seem to stop myself from going outside to admire or just run my hand over the surfaces. The pieces are beautifully crafted & a joy to look at and use. Because the owners are so knowledgeable & friendly, the whole shopping experience was a positive one. read more

I had been shopping catalog teak because I am new to the area. I felt like I could buy something good from on-line and be satisfied; but, the prices were higher than I thought reasonable. So, I turned to Yelp reviews. The reviews of those who wrote before me convinced me to give LoveTeak a try. I found the owners friendly, knowledgable and helpful. I knew exactly what I wanted and they had it. I feel as if I did very well from a price perspective and the quality is absolutely top-notch. I purchased a small table and stacking chairs. Delivery is reasonable and fast! Bought it on Saturday -- delivered on Sunday. This is my new "go-to" place for quality teak furniture in Portland. read more

We could not be happier with the high quality of product and the helpfulness of Ole the owner in making sure we had a great experience. We purchases 8 pieces for a complete outdoor setting and it turned out amazing. Ole was incredibly helpful and kind and we were very impressed by his work ethic and commitment to our experience being a good one. Another plus is that the furniture is fully assembled. If you check other websites many require assembly by the buyer. We wouldn't buy anywhere else ! "Loveteak" thank you Ole ! read more

Once again I feel compelled to write a review of this amazing store. What a find!!!! We originally found the store by accident but keep coming back for more great pieces. It's very much worth the trip from Seattle. Will keep coming back again and again. read more

I have rarely taken the time to submit a review but our experience was so great I thought I would take a minute to share. My wife and I stopped in to just take a look. The owner was so attentive, helpful and pleasant. He was not the least bit pushy and genuinely seemed glad to just meet us. We ended up going back and purchased a seven-piece set. The teak is beautiful and the construction is solid. For example, the joints are all mortise/tennon and the screws are all hidden with teak plugs.
