I was given a report of everything wrong with my car and the total estimate was $5,372.90. They told me the popping noise was my struts and that alone was $1,104. For my oil leak the total cost would be $1,209.71. I will say they were clear and transparent going over the list of things wrong. However, I don't know too much about cars and like to get a second opinion when it comes to these things. I took it to a business my family knew for over 20 years and they told me the popping noise was due to a loose bolt. They tightened it (free of charge) and it stopped popping. If I didn't get a second opinion I would be $1000 down(AT LEAST).That's just one of the many things listed. If you are to go here it's best you bring someone with you that will make sure they don't over charge you or tell you the wrong thing. In my opinion this isn't affordable but i haven't had many inspections done on my car to compare pricing.

Spent a summer driving around with no AC as we couldn't afford to have it inspected again. When finally we could, tech says there was NO evidence of anything replaced or fixed, just needed a recharge. Hmmm recharge worked (even when Brown said he tried recharge) and we now have working AC in our van. Do NOT trust this guy! He has since moved to Illinois so be aware Steve Brown cannot be trusted.

We had been told by a couple people that my son's car needed a new starter - Will easily identified a battery terminal issue after a quick diagnostic. Within a couple minutes, Will knew what the issue was, and we were able to go down to the auto parts store and purchase everything we needed for under $20. He was able to get the car running in less than an hour and went above and beyond to make modifications to one part I bought (battery bracket) because the store didn't have the exact type we needed. Will's work was pristine. I cannot say enough about how great of an experience this was. He is also very kind and pleasant! Additionally, I would like to note that he performed all repairs that were requested, he arrived within 25 minutes of my call, on a Sunday, in the snow, and had everything done within an hour (part of this hour was him waiting on my trip to the auto parts store!). This will be the only person I call for any mechanic needs. I've shared his contact info with my family and recommend him to everyone! I've dealt with several mobile mechanics in the Indy area and can say Will is obviously and by far the most knowledgeable, honest, and gets straight to the resolution of the issue.
