As any parent can tell you, road tripping with little kids is hard. It's so hard, you almost decide it's just not worth it. But there are memories to be made and cousins to see, so you go. You hope for car naps, but you probably end up sitting in the back seat, wedged between two car seats, managing a detailed agenda of crying, puffs snacking, and toy dropping.
So, you know what sucks worse than giving up your comfy captain's chair and conversation with your husband? Getting to Love's with two crying babies, only to find they've *removed* the changing tables.
Worse still, they still have signs up that say "Changing Area Available" so you wander bleary-eyed through Love's twice, thinking you're missing some other bathroom. Then you wait in line, to ask the cashier, who has the unfortunate task of informing you that there will be no changing table here. (All of this while carrying an exhausted 2 year old who wants to buy, understand or touch everything she sees).
There's plenty of room for every type of M&M, cheap hat, crappy souvenir, bad country compilation CD and beef jerky stick meat product in the market, but they somehow don't have room for the most basic of traveling mercies. So no, there's no love here for this place. I always tried to trade here when I traveled because they were based in Oklahoma, but not having changing tables just made me a former customer.
