I guess when we pulled off the highway, we didn't realize that Paris has a nice, new, chain-y part of town. There's a freakin' convenience store with a Denny's in it on the other side of town. But we ended up over here, and we were able to get gas. The ladies' room was probably more like a broad's room, but that's okay. It wasn't too bad. The clerks were nice. I bought a large number of Hershey bars (for s'mores) and they didn't once look at me askance. In fact, this is that particular brand of small town friendly where the clerk made me seem silly for digging around in my pocketbook for a penny. He assured me he could cover it. It seems there is not a lot of fondness of management by the employees. I have been there at all times of the day and often the employees complain that management does not value their input on anything and keeps changing the store appearance without allowing them to voice opinions. Suggest the owners put up an employee suggestion box. The employees are always courteous and professional. The kind of employees their competitors would love to hire.

Go to RR stop and gas station for my road-trips to broken bow. Bathrooms are always clean.read more
