So there was no fighting for parking spot. --Ambience-- Great to have a brightly lit gas station/convenience store in the dark wet night. It was a sign of life in a dimly lit highway. Well stocked Love's, no trouble in fighting for pumps or traffic getting in and out. Attached to a Subway and McDonalds which enhances your choice of food. --Service/Staff-- Staff were awesome especially the lady that got water for my dog and got me in and out quickly, which at early morning truckers need to be on the road. --Products-- Hidden dog park that is near the auto parking and where the truck section starts. It can be easily missed along the edge of the perimeter. I only found it because my dog was walking along the parked vehicles. --Capacity-- I saw a line of trucks in the area. I feel there were about 8-12 trucks parked along the edge, but more in the back which I could view from the auto section. --Overall-- Great rest stop to fill up and great selection of food. Service Dept, is flat out Lazy, I went in at 130pm for a flat tire, they told me 1 hour at the most, they had 1 customer ahead of me, 5 hours later I am still waiting to go inside, they said they are waiting for approval for 1 tire, from this company, so no work is being done in this shop!! Whenever I drive from Pittsburgh to New York and visa versa i always travel on 78 they have easy o and off gas. I stopped for gas and refreshments. This stop has a good selection of food and drinks and the gas is a descent price. As far as self serve gas goes they are all about the same so it is hard to compare one to another other than price. I was in need of gasoline for my car, water after Chinese food earlier in the day, and caffeine for the remaining gour of my journey, thus took the exit of of I-78 to the easily accessible Loves station. A Subway store and McDonalds with a drive through were connected, but did not interest me. I gassed my vehicle, hydrated my body, and caffeinated my circulation. The station was quite busy as it was a sunday evening, but I was in and out in a jiffy. The cashier was most pleasant. Near the door was a "cutest baby" contest, and I could not resist dropping a dollar for a baby with Downs Syndrome. Quick stop for fuel, this Love's was pretty cheap according to GasBuddy and it was certainly convenient as it is just off I-78. Quick in and out. Love's serves trucks too which means that all the turns are easy and wide. Parking is spacious if you're heading inside. The squeegee at the pump worked perfectly at scraping off those spring bugs. I did not go inside today but if you're looking for something more substantial than gas station snacks, they share the building with a McDonald's and a Subway. Too much going on. Not enough space! I came here at 11:30AM looking for somewhere to get fuel, shower, and park until I have my delivery tomorrow, I just knew it would be plenty of parking available because of how early it is and also it being the beginning of the work week, no holidays. Couldn't find a decent spot to park, half of the parking lot is full of bobtails and box trucks who can literally fit just about anywhere, a few dropped trailers, and the few spots that were available, you couldn't back into them because theres trucks sticking out too far from the shop area. This place too small and congested. They have the nerve to have a mcdonalds and subway here attractive more people and clutter. There isn't even a good way to turn around once you've passed all the parking spots, you're basically at the end of the fuel island and has to figure it out. read more

My low review is entirely based on this business's indifference regarding enforcing safe COVID policies that are MANDATED in the state of Pennsylvania. Their lack of regard was both concerning and disappointing. PA has a mask mandate that requires businesses to have patrons wear masks inside. When we were in the store we noticed several people milling about with no masks. When we asked the cashier he said that masks were mandated, and yet the store is not enforcing this policy. Their lack of concern for the safety of their staff and patrons is disconcerting. I would not recommend coming here during a pandemic since they clearly do not care about safety or state policies. What can you possibly say about a place that is: Part Traditional Truck Stop Part Repair Shop Part Gas Station Part Mini Mart Part Gift Shop Part Subway Part McDonald's and part in the middle of nowhere. This Love's in conveniently located right off of exit 23 on Route 78 and is a good gas stop if you're going to Roadside America. Past that I couldn't really think of a reason to come here. I swear last year I got food poisoning from eating the McD's here on the way back from Hershey Park on Thanksgiving night but at the very least everything inside is usually spotless and clean and the employees are surprisingly hospitable for working at a glorified gas station. read more

The Loves Store 358 at 3700 Mountain Road, Hamburg PA 19526 gasoline pump number 4 kept artificially adding fuel and cost to my ticket today (7/05/17) even when no fuel was being dispensed to my vehicle. I do not know of this is a calibration issue or something more devious to cheat people out of their money but I thought you should know. Complained to the manager and was offered a free hotdog or coffee to keep quiet. Put the pump out of order if it's faulty! They did nothing about the pump. read more

I am so sorry that I need to change this review. At first they were really good and because we were waiting in Pennsylvania for our next load we decided to do an M1 service. At first we thought they had done the service correctly but then we found out problem after problem. For one they didnt put the oil cap back on. Then I found out that the receipt says "Shell Rotella T4 semi synthetic" but when I contacted Shell Rotella they responded that no semi synthetic Rotella exists. Also they did not wipe off the oil mess which is near the drain plug, which is not a problem in itself but it tells me that it is possible that they did not even changed the oil, they probably just said they did (anyone removing the plug would spontaneously wipe off the area). Also customers were not allowed to stay in the sleeper cap while they worked and I am now understanding why. read more

The emloyees are cheerful and parkng was easy but the most outstanding part was the shower. I was told Abe was doing the cleaning. Give that man a raise!! These are the cleanest showers I've ever seen in a Loves. I walked around looking in tge others and it wasnt just mine. They were all immaculate.
