Because we were traveling with our cat, we had to take turns going into places whenever we took breaks from driving. The atmosphere is congenial and the hostess welcomes you with a smile and menus. The waitresses kept our coffee hot and fresh. We were waited on promptly for drink orders and then our meals. The food arrived quickly, piping hot, and everything was delicious! From the Eggs Benedict to the bacon and cheese omelette to the chocolate chip pancakes (yum!), everything tasted great! Made with quality ingredients and one could tell just from the flavors in the meals. I wish this place was closer to home because we would be here more often. We paid our $6.00 bill and thanked the owner and went on our way. The place was renovated years ago from an old 5&10, I frequented as a kid. It is a lovely looking place. The wait staff we dealt with were friendly and personable. I can not comment on the food, we did not get any. My unsweetened tea was fine and my wife did not seem to disapprove of her soda. The most recent one was I ordered a cherry ice ended up getting Swedish fish instead, I asked for gelatie with pumpkin custard was given vanilla instead and I even repeated my self to the worker at least 5 times to make sure they had it written down. There's no apologies from management when they make the new ones nothing towards the next time for the mess up or the convinces of going out of your way to get the right order
