In Reading I get my Beef & Cheese Empanadas from PABAVANY FOOD MARKET. They are well seasoned, fresh and around $1.50 an empanada. You can expect pretty much the same here as you would expect from any inner city latin Grocery/convenience/food-mart/bodega.

I mean it with this one. My fiance dragged me out of the depths of unemployment-driven indolence (or is it the other way around?) to join him for lunch here in town one day. The wait isn't bad (we had no trouble getting seats at noon, though it could fill up easily). Wow. The closest thing I had to this in NYC was that taco place on 10th ave. the foodies love. SO CHEAP. SO GOOD. Incredible salsa verde. They grow all the veggies and herbs out in a little garden behind the store. I had the chicken and the carne asada tacos. I smelled like fresh-to-death cilantro the whole ride from Reading to DC, and cannot wait to return!

Luckily I went with a reoccurring patron, otherwise I wouldn't have known you get called back to the counter (where you order and have a seat) to grab your food and condiments. The tacos were good, but not amazing. I prefer those I've found on Oley Street, as the pricing is better there as well. I also felt the shells were a little drier than those spots. I wouldn't be in a rush to go back since there are so many other options, but again, not bad.

This location has been here for quite awhile... albeit under many different owners, and I think…read morethat this iteration may be it's best. I had given up on this location about 4 years ago. Anytime I would go in, the selection was "meh" and they never really had anything that I wanted to drink, and I always found myself either walking out empty handed, or with some weird choice that I regretted. A coworker offhandedly said something about how awesome it was, when I pressed a little more he started mentioning some of the beer he got there... and it didn't sound like anything I had remembered. I pulled into the parking lot, saw a "under new ownership" sign, and went inside and was blown away. TOns of craft choices. Coolers of great beer , shelves of great beer. Neat, clean, orderly. Everything the last version of this store wasn't. Highly recommend stopping in for some good craft selections if you're in the area.

I asked if they had high noon Mango, the didn't look, just a no. End of transaction he didn't thank me, nothing. I get a lot a beer and this is not the only place in Wyomissing. But will be the last . Place is terrible! And if double parking is a problem, whatever happened to chivalry and carrying a case of 30 beer out to a woman's car.

So instead of keeping it for me like any respectable business would do, the cashier says that she gave my stuff to a regular since he said he would return my things to me. And that he was running down the street looking for me. Except immediately after I made my purchase I was waiting outside the liquor store for my friend that was a block away. I was there for a good few minutes so if this alleged person was really looking for me to return my things I was right there in front of the store. My friend and I walked down a few blocks before I realized I had left my stuff behind. I go back which was when I was fed this story. Naturally I called the cops and this store, as of this review, is under investigation. Nasty attitude towards me when I was understandably upset that my things had gone missing because of this woman's negligence. Telling me it wasn't her job to babysit my things. When someone leaves something behind you don't hand it off to some random stranger that tells you he'll return my things, EXTREMELY unprofessional and disgusting attitude when I called her out on her story. Edit - I "conveniently" got my stuff returned to me as the person that had it in their possession gave it back to them to give to me. The investigation is no longer being done.
