We pull up and see that the machine is not cleaning the driver side rear of the car... so we don't have a choice we are in line and it's taken our money. My husband said he would ask for a refund if it didn't clean the back. It's one thing for an automated machine to mix a part of the car but half? That's crazy... my husband thought that the person that was in front of us maybe had pulled into the machine over to one side too much and perhaps this caused the problem.. but alas, no. We still had the same problem as the first car. We pull up to the gas station to show someone and ask for a refund or something because one half of the back isn't washed. They tell us they can't give a refund. They the. Proceed to send us back in the car wash to apparently see if there is an issue. They then see it. We can see the cars behind us pointing to the back of our car and complaining they also don't want the same result on their own automobiles. He proceeded to tel my husband he can't get a refund because he paid at the pump and it gave him a discount... no idea. I didn't realize that it did. Maybe it did. Don't know. We got the general managers number and will call when we return home from our trip as we do not live in this part of Texas. I felt anyone in the area needed to know so I created this listing on yelp so I could post our experience. Don't think we will be back to stripes.

There is a food court inside the travel center with lots of seating options inside but there are also chairs and tables available outside. There are many options available in terms of restaurants to eat from but beware they close at 7 pm. After closing time for the restaurants do keep some deep fry options available under the hot light such as corn dogs, chicken tenders and fries, pizza, etc. There are a soda fountain, coffee station, slushy station, and even agua frescas in terms of drinks on tab. They have your average gas station snacks and bottle drinks on one side of the building. On the other side of the building, they have souvenirs available along with basic necessities your vehicle may need when traveling from A to B. There are also fidget toys, religious artifacts, house decorations, little kids' toys, and various types of souvenirs. At the front entrance, they do have premium perfumes, big pieces of artwork for sale, and even some big electronics like speakers and karaoke machines. The times I have been there only one cashier was at the register and the line was a bit of a wait. There is also another check-out counter on the travel side of the center where the commercial vehicles go in for service. I am pretty sure they have showers and a driver's lounge for the commercial vehicles but I did not wander towards that side of the building. Both times I have been here it was always clean both inside the building and out in the parking lot. Bathrooms were clean and fully stocked when I visited. Many snacks are available and plenty of knick nacks to buy. I really look forward to my next visit when I am in the area.
