The entire town looked deserted - no one had their house lights on - and while the station's inside lights were on, no one appeared to be there. The pumps claimed that they could authorize credit cards 24/7, so I attempted to get fuel. The card would authorize, but the pumps didn't work at all (I tried two). Given that the town had a bit of a Zombieland-esque feel, I decided to high-tail it out of there - it was creepy! I found two open, well-lit fuel stations one exit north.
