The area around the pumps is not well marked, and trying to navigate to one of them can be a bit of a free-for-all when it's busy. The shop inside is a bit smaller than other Love's I've visited. The men's room had not been cleaned for a while, wads of paper and wet spots in many places on the floor. It's still an okay place to stop, just be a little careful as you drive or walk around.

There is also a Burger King attached to it which was very busy with people sitting around. There is a door inside between the two stores. My complaints: When I walked in there was no one at the register and the place is very small so you can see throughout and there was no one there. This made me feel uneasy. Perhaps I have watched too many movies! The bathrooms were small and cleaned o.k. but not great. When I exited someone was back behind the desk but she didn't acknowledge me. The kicker is when my husband came back to the car he said, "So I walked in there and some guy was trying to break into the condom machine. I think he was high or drunk because he didn't notice me and was still there after I left trying to break it off the wall." So clearly this gas station has security issues. Maybe the tons of people in Burger King are locals who just like to hang out, and they have to use the restroom inside of the gas station side. Whatever the reason, there is no excuse.

I had 3 goals when I stopped at this location. One was to get the biggest Slurpee Speedway offered,…read morethe second, find whole milk and lastly, to get the cashier to let me use the microwave to warm up the milk for my son's bottle. The cashier standing just outside the door helping someone else when I walked up to the store. She was super sweet from the start, and didn't act like I was inconveniencing her at all, or have a god complex, because she had the power to deny me microwave privileges, or like her pay got docked for however much extra wattage of me using the microwave would have raised Speedway's power bill. By the way some cashiers act sometimes, I seriously think one of those 3 scenarios plays out in their minds. But not this one! I don't know her name, but it was pretty late, maybe 11-12, and she was short and so nice. The Slurpee machine was in working order, the store was organized, and she let me use the microwave. She is the reason for the four stars. I deducted a star from the company because there was absolutely no white milk in the cooler and the company should have to suffer the consequences of my single star deduction. PS, I almost restored the fifth star because of the awesome drumstick Slurpee straws, buuut then you would not have learned your lesson, Speedway.
