She was super sweet from the start, and didn't act like I was inconveniencing her at all, or have a god complex, because she had the power to deny me microwave privileges, or like her pay got docked for however much extra wattage of me using the microwave would have raised Speedway's power bill. By the way some cashiers act sometimes, I seriously think one of those 3 scenarios plays out in their minds. But not this one! I don't know her name, but it was pretty late, maybe 11-12, and she was short and so nice. The Slurpee machine was in working order, the store was organized, and she let me use the microwave. She is the reason for the four stars. I deducted a star from the company because there was absolutely no white milk in the cooler and the company should have to suffer the consequences of my single star deduction. PS, I almost restored the fifth star because of the awesome drumstick Slurpee straws, buuut then you would not have learned your lesson, Speedway.

The gas prices here are consistent (same gas prices usually) with the other nearby gas stations and truck stops at Exit 77. The layout of the site is tight with the 15 fuel pumps here including unleaded and diesel in front of the store and parking in front and along the side of the building. The gas pumps however are credit card islands only (pay at the pump), so no cash is accepted for fuel. If you want to or need to pay cash for fuel, there are plenty of other fueling options that accept cash nearby (including Exxon across the highway). The convenience store offers small food items, limited grocery items, snacks, candy, cold drinks, dairy case, cold fountain drinks, Dunkin Donuts Express Coffee, smokes, lottery tickets, and auto & travel supplies. Importantly, this store has restrooms in the back of the store. There were some select items on sale here including some 50 percent off items throughout the store including some grocery items (mac & cheese, noodle bowls), maps, chargers, and auto supplies. In front of the store, they offer bagged ice, propane, and Red Box movies. I stopped in here only for a really big cold Diet Pepsi fountain drink and refilled my 64 oz Speedway Fountain Soda travel mug at the self serve soda fountain for 69 cents plus tax. I also picked up a Virginia Atlas which was 50 percent off and I used my Speedy Rewards Card to earn some points during the visit. I needed fuel too, but since I wanted to pay cash, I had to gas up at another gas station nearby, same price there, but no Speedy Rewards points earned. I believe it's credit only for fuel since it does free up staff inside of the store to handle strictly convenience store transactions.
