Not more than an hour down the road did I have to pull over once again because my car was doing the exact same thing it had done before replacing the front axle. Went to a Firestone garage where they pulled the front wheels and discovered that my front brake pads on both sides were stuck up underneath my brake calipers. There were bolts missing from both calipers, and were almost completely detached from the front end. The danger that they put my daughter and myself in is inexcusable. I called them the next day and they reassured me that they would rectify the situation. But after three weeks of calling them and emailing them, with no return calls as promised I have not received any reimbursement from them. I had to make a claim against them through my bank.

My 2005 Toyota Corolla would not start. There was no clicking sound from the starter…read more I called McRoberts and they said that it was most likely the starter. They came and hauled my car into their shop. Their shop is on Main Street in Wytheville, VA. The owner told me that the starter had only one bolt holding it. They tested the starter and verified it was not working. They replaced the original starter. The cost for their work was extremely reasonable. They have worked on my car 2 other times. I am very happy with the work that they have done on my old car. I will continue to use them and would not hesitate to recommend them for car repair. They are NOT some price gouging shop. They are very honest.

No stars. Took truck here for a delete & tune.. returned it several times picked it up again 4/1…read moreturned around not even mile took it back bc it thru codes. Josh said phantom codes.. it was fine to drive he would investigate.. 4/2 went to start it & wont start or run. Several calls he said he would show up.. never has now refuse to fix or pay for another shop to fix their mistake. Btw delete & tunes are illegal..they do state inspections plus do work for railroad & mines. Seem trustworthy for your family if they cant be honest.. my answer is no!!!

Im not one to ever write reviews but this place definitely deserves one…read moreAt first what i thought would be a pleasant experience by bringing my truck in for minor motor repair simply turned into what I can only explain as a nightmare. I dropped off my truck being told it would be checked out and what parts I would need to get back on the road I was told parts was ordered (which was a lie). I also was told a time frame as to when my truck would be fixed. Weeks and weeks went by and I was constantly given excuse after excuse as to why my truck was not being worked on I can understand if parts needed to be ordered but after almost 2 months I decided to pull my vehicle out of this shop and was also not offered any services and or discounts or any help to fix my issues only a bill for parts thay I have still yet to see would not recommend to absolutely anyone
