This Sheetz is tiny but mighty. It had pretty much everything you want in a Sheetz: gas, snacks, and a clean bathroom. Bonus points because the cashier was super nice. It did not offer all of the same snack options as most locations but that's just because the place is so small. read more

We came here to gas up and use the restrooms. The restrooms were clean. I was going to order some food (you can do that at Sheetz) but for gas station food, it was expensive to me. Maybe it's well worth it. If so, guess I missed out. I did buy some sour candy... that's my vice. I looooove sour candy! Whew! The service was fast and friendly. best drive thru car wash I've ever used my windshield looked like it was a new one when I drove out

Crowded pumps and no clear directions into the pumps. It's a free for all. One grassy area for pet walking is surprisingly free of trash, but full of dog poop. Really rude not to pick up after your pets. Same people must be using the ladies room. What a mess, the floor has trash all over, the paper towel dispensers were either empty or jammed up. Extra rolls of paper towels were just sitting on the wet sink counter and not very sanitary. Staff and customers I saw were wearing masks. Social distancing and roped off checkout line was in place. My only purchase was gas. Passed a Flying J just a few miles down I 85 north that did not look congested at all and same price. Sheetz always seems to be competitive with gas pricing. read more

Great place to stop and rest. The made-to-order subs were surprisingly delicious. Lots of options for add-ons. Guy was announcing order numbers with exuberance :) There was also a lady meticulously cleaning the chairs in the seating area. Glad we stopped here. read more

When we pulled in there were 5 pumps that had unattended cars. There were at least 8 vehicles trying to get in line to pump gas. The bathrooms were dirty and it was obvious they were understaffed. read more

This is the best experience I've had in a gas station. The men's bathroom was huge so I didn't mind taking up one of the many sinks to clean the sweat off my face from a hike in Grayson Highlands State Park. The food was excellent, I made a strange burger with a waffle instead of a bun and it was still delicious. I was so amazed by this Sheetz that I tried to make sure every gas station we hit after was a Sheetz as well. West Virginia's Sheetz was unfortunately a bit underwhelming compared to this one as it was much smaller. I felt like I could live here! It was as if I had returned to the womb. read more

Made a pit stop to get gas and coffee on the way to NYC. This place was busy. Not many places open on Christmas Day. Wanted to go to Starbucks across the street, but they were closed. Felt like walking into a convience store with lots materials to select from. Got gas, used the rest room and then grab that cup of coffee to go and back on the road toward NYC. Stopped here twice going to & coming from Massachusetts. Had the E-85 Fuel which a lot of places don't got on I-81. Restrooms were pretty Decent. Had a Hot Chocolate although it was Sugary. The snacks were awesome. I'm adding this to my list of places to get Gas when traveling on I-81 read more

I love their sub sandwiches, french fries and onion rings. The wait time can be a little excessive to get your food but it has always been well worth it. You can order online and that seems to save time. Snacks and soda fountain are great too. Employees are courteous and helpful. read more

The farthest-south Sheetz I know of is here in Wytheville, VA. It's a pretty new location, generally starts a brief corridor on I-81 of lower gas prices, offers the standard Sheetz plethora of MTO foodstuffs as well as typical C-store items, provides a carwash and has an air/vacuum station. There is also a pump with E85 provided, if you have a vehicle that can use that type of fuel. read more

I had made a $20 order and all of my good was gross. My hotdogs were sloppy. My ham tasted soured like it was out of date or had gone bad. The manager KEITH didn't want to do anything about it at first. Tried to tell me I was wrong. He was completely rude and hateful about everything. He obviously thinks he is on his high horse, and he needs to step down. Ridiculous. Will not eat while he's working here ever again. Something needs to be done about him and the way he treats his customers and his employees. read more

I am a huge fan of Sheetz in general, but my stop here, at this Sheetz in Wytheville, VA, was a bit of a nightmare. This is Sunday, big travel day. And this Sheetz does not have scanners on the pumps so that you can scan your member ID at the pump to get your discount. So you have to go inside and wait in line for the cash register. And if you want to fill up your tank, you have to pay a larger amount than you think you need, fill up, and then come back in to get a refund, waiting in line again. And at this Sheetz on this day, there was 1, count'm 1, cash register open. There were about 14 people in line when I came back in. Finally, they did open another cash register, but this should all have been anticipated. And install the scanners for crying out loud. Any Sheetz that doesn't have the scanners at the pump is an automatic 1-star review. read more

I am sorry to say that I have to rate this Sheetz Car Wash so low. We did not have time to get our vehicle washed before our trip south, so we stopped at this Wytheville, VA Sheetz and used their Car Wash - Unfortunately, I did not know until we got out of our car at our next rest stop, how terribly awful that car wash was!!! It was truly the worst car wash that I have ever had! My mini van looked like no soap or water had ever touched the car, and I am definitely not exaggerating - I could not believe my eyes. I don't know if they are having a car wash chemical issue, or it was just the equipment design.
