Since they also service trucks, it was easy to get in and get lined up to a fuel pump. The gas flowed quickly, the receipt printer worked well and a few days later, I received the expected rebate. I did not have a need to go inside today. They share the building with Taco Bell, Popeye's and Subway so if you're looking for food at the same stop, there you go. The cashier standing just outside the door helping someone else when I walked up to the store. She was super sweet from the start, and didn't act like I was inconveniencing her at all, or have a god complex, because she had the power to deny me microwave privileges, or like her pay got docked for however much extra wattage of me using the microwave would have raised Speedway's power bill. By the way some cashiers act sometimes, I seriously think one of those 3 scenarios plays out in their minds. But not this one! I don't know her name, but it was pretty late, maybe 11-12, and she was short and so nice. The Slurpee machine was in working order, the store was organized, and she let me use the microwave. She is the reason for the four stars. I deducted a star from the company because there was absolutely no white milk in the cooler and the company should have to suffer the consequences of my single star deduction. PS, I almost restored the fifth star because of the awesome drumstick Slurpee straws, buuut then you would not have learned your lesson, Speedway.

The Mountains edge is by far the most superior experience in car washing history of my vehicle…read more The attendance walked through the check in process and ran up to the wash station entrance to guide my car in safely onto the track to get washed. The ladies prepped my car and my car smoothly went through the wash system. I chose the $17 bc it needed a fairly decent clean. It was SO worth my money because it cleaned 98% of my car!! The only 2 tiny things I had to go after was a few specks of dirt and the tire shine left a streaky residue on my tires that easily wiped off. Here's where it gets better: The free vacuum service. It was to the extreme oversized vacuum that was your traditional, a detailer vacuum, an air compressor, a cleaner spray, and a bin for clean + dirty microfiber towels! But wait there's more!! They even have a mat wash and dryer/cleaners machine. I was so excited because in my years of having my car my mate have never looked so good. The spray for the mats is a deep clean pressure washer. So it got all the gunk out! The limit for busy days at the wash is 10 min but there were only a few people so I took my time and cleaned my car good!! It was so worth my money. A few tiny tiny things that would make it even better is if they sold a disinfectant spray for the car in the vending machine or extra towels. Usually for me back home at the beach I have to go to different wash locations to get all of the bonus features in the vacuum area AND get as good of a clean. I mean I was impressed inside the car how they had an overhead spray wash that went in twice. So please drive out here and give it a go bc as an out of towner this es where the edge of car wash details gives you an astonishing overlook of car pride!

No, not that kind of money. Clean money. Anyway... The staff here is super friendly, the atmosphere fits the area, and the place has some charm. It looks like the prices for the sandwiches are very fair, but I got a bagel, and the price for one bagel is too high. However, this is more of a sandwich and coffee shop; it's not a bagel store. I definitely recommend The Grind. I'm not really a morning person so I don't know what Bob was talking about half the time, but that's just me. Definitely recommended!

It is next to the Edith Bolling Wilson Birthplace Museum, so stopping here after a visit would be super easy. There were plenty of specialty drinks on the menu, and they trended towards the sugary direction. There were plenty of families enjoying the space, and options for kids and adults. My drink ended up being sugary-sweet and I probably would have asked them to dial it down if I had realized. On the plus side, they were able to get drinks out pretty quickly, in spite of there being quite the crowd. The space was clean and modern. Also, the bathroom was clean and very much appreciated on our road trip. I probably wouldn't sit and enjoy my drink here, due to the high traffic (at least when I visited). For a quick stop in, it's nice. I'll be sure to order better next time. Solid spot!
