Stopped in on a whim, was in the shopping center and noticed it. Employees were welcoming right off the bat. Brianna didn't hover but would swing over and check on us periodically. We picked a couple items and she asked if she might recommend a different alternative. We said sure. It was pricier but worth it in quality, plus she gave a couple of options with other price points. They had a sale going on and she was looking out for us. We got several items free because they were buy one get one and we hadn't realized. Knowledgeable, store is very clean, well organized. Many plus size options too for those that need them. Very pleasant experience. Plus she also told us about their FREE workshops, we signed up! We will be back again. read more

Yelp needs to have an option to not give crappie location stars. It's 2/13/17 9:00pm I just walked out of the store. NO one helps you not even if you had a damn sign on your head. I almost feel bad for comming here a group of 3 other women walked out cause they aren't helpful at all. I was in the store waiting in line and all of a sudden another lined formed up on the other side of the counter. And I asked "is that where the line starts? I've been waiting behind this dude for like what feels like 10mins" The girls in the other line said "we don't you? Do you know cause I don't know" they were all confused. The cashier was helping out a guy on underwear and I saw the cashier stressing out cause the line was getting bigger and bigger and she had no help. The least she can do was say "I'll be with you in a moment" or for God's sake call your co-worker to help you out she's right behind you!. On top of that when I walked into the store, one of the employees greeted me and rolled her eyes. Wth?? Bad vides from this place I really feel bad for comming here and not staying loyal to Lotions and Lace which is right next door!!! Stopped in on a whim. Employees were very friendly and helpful. A couple of things you should be aware of that I was not. I bought a few products that were Factory sealed in the Box. One of them was $200. On getting it home and looking at reviews I realized that the actual retail price from the manufacturer was $50 less than what I paid. I guess as a consumer it's my job to understand what is fair market value however I don't like to pull out my phone and start Price shopping as I want to support local businesses. When I looked into returning it I was told they have a zero return policy even if clearly unopened. I highly recommend looking online first before you purchase anything from them. read more

One really fun thing to do is to walk hand in hand with your eternal sweetheart into one of these stores and Touch of Romance is hands down my husbands and my favorite. This place has selling love making fun down pat especially compared to Lotions and Lace in the next plaza over. Lotions and Lace is all lit up and feels like the Wal-Mart of sex stores, they have quantity but kind of lack quality and unlike any Wal-Mart you would be hard pressed to find anything under $10. Not to mention that the employees do not seem that comfortable or knowledgeable which in turn make you not feel very comfortable asking questions to find the right product. But the ambiance at A Touch of Romance feels more intimate with the dimmed lights, cool displays, hip background music, and items in every price range, including lots of stuff under $10 & $20. This is especially good if you want to test drive an item because you can buy the cheaper version first and then commit to the more expensive one if you enjoyed it later. The best part about A Touch of Romance besides what you get to take home with you is their customer service. All of the employees here are really well trained, at least giving the impression that they know what they are talking about. They are really comfortable and nonjudgmental which most importantly makes you feel comfortable discussing a typically private subject. This would be a place to bring your questions because they genuinely seem interested in finding you the perfect item that would be most pleasurable for you and your companion. A Touch of Romance is a chain shop so since they have multiple locations, my hubby and I are customers for life whether living in Riverside or LA. Just a side note for all ya married couples out there reading this: It is proven that satisfaction in the sack is one of the main things that keeps marriages together so don't ever be ashamed to go here and check out the merchandise because they have a lot of suggestions to make this part of life a bit more non-routine, intimate, and exciting. read more

Came here after a business lunch at Punjab Palace across the street... Had a little time to kill before my next client, so decided to drop by. I was fairly impressed that it did not give me that "nasty-pervert insert shady jazz music here" feel as many other Touch of Romance stores do! (hint hint Tustin Ave. in Orange) This location has very nice displays of their lingerie and they have such a large selection of everything! Even if you're a guy, you will not feel weird shopping for lingerie your girlfriend (or yourself, nothing wrong with that!) I did see a couple guys shopping for lingerie and the girls working there were very helpful to them giving them ideas and such. I was also helped, I just had a couple questions about some of their selections, and they were answered nicely. I love the little black bag you get with your purchase! After my first 2-3 visits, I would have dissed this place and given it 3 stars... But I was once again back to the shop yesterday and had a wonderful experience. I was definitely not in the mood after a long day at work, but the sales person was phenomenal! He was very comedic and full of energy. From the moment I walked in, he was welcoming and open to helping me find a sash and tiara for my sister.
