However, I still find it worth it when I can purchase 3 dresses or more for equal to or less than the price of a department store dress from the mall. If you are like me, keep your purchases out of reach from your pets as their cute little paws will tear through anything. The quality is not the best, but it's well worth it for the variety you can find there. I just purchased 2 sets of boot socks on clearance for $.99 apiece. Buy them anywhere else and you'll spend a MINIMUM of $5-15, unless you're shopping from an online retailer such as Grace and Lace and can spend $20-35 for the handcrafted work. I also found a SUPER SNAZZY, classic black jacket that was $16. The jacket was somehow both delicate AND fierce. All in all, if you're on a budget yet wish to dress trendy, sexy, comfortable, or classic, Discovery has all you need. If you're a Pinterest gal and find that you can't afford the outfits you like pieced together by the pros, you certainly can afford those pieces when you're shopping at Discovery. (I hate adding this in, but imaging buying direct from China but eliminating the wait time for shipping and guaranteeing that what you see is what you get. That's kind of like Discovery.) Shoes on clearance range from $5-10. Their full-price shoes are not much more than that. Bras are good quality, but then again I'm not as well-endowed as some. Accessories are very reasonably priced. You can always find something on clearance for a knock-your-socks-off price. Leave your own review on other products I've not yet tried out from them. Complaints about staff? I've never noticed any issues. But then again I don't pay close enough attention. They were very courteous and helpful while we were there. However, a little bit of respect, appreciation, and common courtesy go a long way if you find a person to be a bear to be around.

I have PCOS and it affects my weight(185#) and weird hair growth. I have anxiety which has caused other problems. I NEVER thought I could do something like this. Just talking to the lady to schedule the appointment was terrifying but she made me feel comfortable. Trying to walk into the building the day of the appointment was a whole other challenge. I talked myself into it and made it in through the door. I was greeted by the most kind women that assured me it would be a great expierience. One thing that helped was to know that they all had to expierience this when getting hired. They all know the feelings I was feeling that day. My make up was beautiful. I'd wear make up all the time if I could make it look like that! Then came time to take "it" all off somehow I did that, too! Once they started taking pictures it was so easy! She told me where to go, how to pose, where to put my had/arm etc etc. I couldn't believe how comfortable I was wearing nearly nothing! I ended up purchasing all of the photos at the end on a drive. Was it expensive...well yeah. They work hard! Was it worth it...100%. My husband's reaction was priceless. 1st thing he said was that he's always seen these on facebook but never thought I would do that. For his 30th birthday I had surprised him with a trip to his first michigan game and bought him an authentic jersey. I wore that jersey for part of the photo shoot. I also took a few other photos in a bralette and panties. My advise...if you ever thought this would be neat but not sure if you could then just do it!!

Checkout can be a little frustrating. They had one cashier and most of the customers were waiting in the self checkout line. Self checkout line seemed to move at an okay pace.

All three occasions were absolutely amazing. I dealt directly with Argentina herself who is absolutely wonderful. She really knows what she is doing. I loved all of my wedding and engagement photos. Yes, the pricing is expensive but it is top quality work and it is worth every penny. As far as my buduior shoot, I was very nervous. I am a plus size woman and I am very self conscious of my body. Argentina and her staff made me feel very comfortable and the positions were difficult but she definitely made me look good. I would recommend her to anyone and can't wait for another occasion to be photographed by her.

When I tell you this is THE best place to shop in The Region - I am not kidding…read more To explain, let me take you back to August 2023, I was less than a year post partum and had my appointment at SBB with Shannon. I tried on quite a few that I liked but nothing completely wowed me. Until Shannon took it upon herself to pull one for me to try on. It was strapless (which made me uneasy) but she added straps to give it that off the shoulder look I wanted. It was PERFECT. I am not someone who cries but this dress had myself and my group in tears. We purchased it THAT DAY. Fast forward to June of 2024 - I have lost about 80 pounds and get the call that my dress was in. Panic set in but Shannon assured me that it would all be fine. I went to try it on and of course it was about 5 sizes too big. I brought it to my seamstress July 6th for alterations and was told that it may not be doable and it if was it would cost me around $900. (My wedding is October 26th by the way) I gave the store a call simply to find out what the name of their sister store was as I was most likely going to have to get a new dress. Luckily it was Shannon who I spoke with and she was just as upset about the situation as I was. She told me she would call me right back. And she did. With the name and number of a wonderful seamstress who was experienced in this type of work. She also said she could POSSIBLY work something out with the sister store for a trade in for my dress. (That's not something they typically ever do but she would ask!) hey, the worst the owner could say was "no" at this point. So with no "good" option I made an appointment at The One as well as with the experienced seamstress. (Take a look at my review on The One by SBB's page to see how that went.) When I say I was completely BLOWN away by the kindness and generosity I felt by this store and its employees/owners, I mean it. They could have easily said "too bad so sad" about the entire situation but they are REAL people who actually care about their clients. In a world that is so harsh and cruel these days, it's hard to find that. I will recommend SBB to ANYONE that will listen! Thank you Shannon and everyone who made this potentially disastrous situation stress and guilt free. If I could - I would invite them all to the wedding.
