This place felt like such a hidden gem in Tulum! It's a bit outside of the actual city center but because of that it's very quiet and peaceful. The tables are located on a covered patio right next to the pool, which is surrounded by greenery and string lights. It's very dreamy.
The prices aren't terribly cheap but it's definitely quality food/ingredients. Plus the prices felt fair considering you are paying for the atmosphere as well. In fact, we were told we were welcome to use the pool after we finished eating. We didn't have our bathing suits, but I think they have some kind of policy where each person has to buy 300 pesos worth of food/drink to use the pool. Definitely worth it! The space is too beautiful to pass up.
The shrimp tostada was the best thing we got. Sooo good. The shrimp are sauteed in a pipian verde sort of paste that's really delicious. The white pizza is really good too with the truffle oil. We ordered the pizza with goat cheese/pears/figs because I love goat cheese but honestly this one tasted super bland--wouldn't recommend it.
Our server Juan Carlos was so sweet! We absolutely loved talking with him and he was so friendly and helpful. He totally made our experience an even better one. We so enjoyed Lovely's!! read more
