Pizzeria Marinella has that "hole-in-the-wall" charm, with friendly, family-style service that makes you feel welcome right away. The prices are great. I loved the gigante beans the best but it also had zucchini, eggplant, mushrooms, shrimp, sundried tomato, artichoke, roasted red pepper, and lots of olives. I ordered a pizza half with arugula and half with mushrooms. They put a lot of arugula which was very tasty because they seasoned it. Although I prefer it plain, it was still good. The mushroom half was perfect. My friend had a pasta dish with broccoli and sausage . The sausage was more German than Italian but he liked it and ate it all. The service was very slow because they seemed to be shorthanded. There was only one waiter and one busboy for the whole restaurant.

My only complain is that the starter mix plate was brought with the pizza, it would've been better if they brought the starter first (some places would ask if the should brought separately or together), it just causes traffic jam on the table when both were delivered.
