We enjoyed a bottle of red wine which went perfectly with our meal. I can't believe this pizza was so big and yet cooked so perfectly. The server was wonderful as well as the other staff. We sat in the bar area to stay out of the sun but the outside was loaded with charming tables on a really cute tree lined street. So...if you're ever in Munich, eat here.

Not anything I'd write a raving review over. My companion had the pasta carbonara and that too was just fine. I felt both lacked flavor. I wouldn't recommend or come back.

Have to copy the artichoke sauce in the future. We started with grilled octopus. It was warm, crispy on the outside, and perfectly done. Garnishes were orange slices without the skins and and chicory from Lazio. One friend got the pappardelle special which consisted of long ravioli stuffed with braised beef. The cheese foam was amazing. Great idea for pasta! I've never seen anything like it. The fish special was amazing! The the guinea on the special was also delicious. Lamb on the regular menu was very good, very fresh, and tender. Sorbet trio for dessert was mint, lemon, and berries to resemble the flag. All three were fresh and homemade. I was surprised how much I loved the mint. We also tried the gelato trip of Trifle, chocolate and panna. Another winner!

The menu comprises Italian classics - pasta, pizzas and a sensibly limited range of traditional meat and fish dishes. There's a decent range of wines and aperitifs. As well as the regular menu there's a seasonal range as well. We had gazpacho to start, pizzas as mains and finished with the chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce and a dark berry compote (one was just enough to share). With two large beers, the bill came to €54. The gazpacho was excellent (smooth and quite piquant) and served with a generous basket of bread; the thin-crust pizzas were good; and the tart (especially the compote) was outstanding. Service started and ended well but after the mains we weren't offered the menu for dessert and, at that point, the waiters seemed to disappear for at least ten minutes. So we purloined a menu ourselves. Otherwise this would have been a 5* review. That said, I'd cheerfully eat here again. Note: they accept credit cards but only for amounts over €30.
