I wish I could give it -1000 stars and receive my money back!! I called ahead they said $110 for full set acrylic manicure and gel pedicure. The lady gave me the wrong service for pedicure and gave me a acrylic pedicure instead of asking, and through the service I asked her are you sure I need this service and she proceeded and said yes, after completing the pedicure she said $190 for everything when I was originally told $110 over the phone for everything. She proceeds to yell in the store and talk in her language she tells me she doesn't want to do my manicure which is unprofessional because it was her mistake and ANDY does my manicure after the person he was working with, I told Andy my feet are bubblegum base color and he proceeds with the colors he choose after shows him my inspo picture. Andy did my nails very bubbly and big, and rushed. I will never go back, and I hope I'm able to dispute this charge!!! At the end I ended up paying $130 this is crazy! I'm sticking with nail techs! Damaged my nails from having powder gel done for many years. Went here and they were very rough on my weak and damaged nails, and they actually hurt! They charged me $35 for a manicure, and by the next day, several have cracked snd peeled. I removed the polish and gently reapplied polish, using healthier nail products in an effort to heal the additional damage they did with their rough treatment and thinly applied inferior nail polish product. read more

One of my nails broke off so I decided to go to lovely nails to get 1 nail fixed instead of driving all the way out to glamorous nails in crestview to fix 1 nail where I always get my nails done it's like a 30 minute drive. I got a full set with nail design and I love it! He was quick and friendly and when I showed him a picture of my design he didn't try to convince me of something easier which I really appreciate. Can I give a 0 review. It was the worst experience. I went in to have SNS removed from my fingers and then a regular manicure. The man buffed the SNS off, he buffed so hard that I felt like he was burning my skin. He removed so much enamel that my nails are now so thin. He never soaked my nails with acetone to soften the SNS. Then he gave me a manicure with the thickest polish that kept clumping. Sent me home and within a short amount of time I had 3 nails that cracked and half of my other nails had the polish chip off. Went back in to the salon the next morning and had them remove the polish and shape whatever nails I had left. I asked for a credit for a future manicure and was basically laughed at. It was the worst spent $35. At this point it will take a long while for my nails to grow out look good again. Do not go there!! read more

I'm not going to say this place was bad it's just not the best. I got acrylic nails and a pedicure for my school dance and $70 later the tips of my nails are slightly lopsided and there is so much extra glue under the nails (an easy fix at home with a file) the people were nice but it was obvious that they didn't want to talk as much as I did, They rushed through the entire appointment, which could be a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it. This place just isn't for me but my friends love it. I will not be going back, but if your looking to get your nails done, maybe not acrylics, in a relatively speedy manner I think you would like it. read more

When I asked them about that she said "we wipe them down" which consisted of her running her hand around the tub while my feet were still in it! Things that suck: you are always waiting and they can be rude. Things that out weigh the sucky stuff: super cheap, lots of shellac colors and a shellac mani will last about 3 weeks instead of the normal 2 weeks. I love this place. I'm a regular! read more

I went with my daughter to get shellac. I previously had shellac from another location and my daughter was just getting hers put on. They had my nails soaking for 25 minutes then he took a metal tool and started scraping the shellac off. It took my entire layers off my nails. Then when he "painted" my nails it wasn't done all the way. He painted top coat on half of the nails not covering it in full. I left and called the next day once I realized the entire nails weren't covered and it was extremely noticeable. I spoke with Tony he told me to come in and he would fix them. I'm not a nail expert but typically when I get shellac removed they put small foils on my nails then cotton and polish remover and wrap them. This wasn't the process they did and I won't be returning. read more

Pay attention to what they charge you for...the times I have went they have charged me something different even when you get the same thing. $35 dollars the first time I got a fill-in shellac almond shaped nail..second time I go back they charged me $45 because of the "almond shaped nail" read more

I went to lovely nails after work around 5pm. The older man with glasses did my nails. He did a good job. Thet turned out cute and the price was better than other salons nearby. He was a little rude though. He seemed put out when I asked for an accent nail which is just one nail of a different color. He actually sighed really loud and rolled his eyes . I couldn't believe it. He didn't say another word to me after he retrieved my other polish color. I couldn't wait to be finished. I think if I go back I'll just ask for a different nail tech. read more

I went to Lovely Nails today. I thought the place smelled like sewage. Perhaps, they are having a plumbing problem. The woman that did my nails was very rough. I told her she was hurting me when she was pushing the cuticle back, my fingers now are bleeding at the base of the nail. As she trimmed the cuticle she nicked the skin and another finger started bleeding. There was blood on the cuticle cutters and she just put them in the drawer for reuse. Also, when she had me soak my nails the water was ice cold. I told her and she didn't say anything. I would not recommend this place. I will not be back. read more

For starters, these people are RUDE! They do not listen when you say something to them about what they're doing to your nails. I've had the same guy 2 months in a row and he's not only rough, but while he was fixing 2 broken nails, he didn't shorten the length on the one (which I didn't notice until I left) and on the other, he didn't even put a tip on it. Just acrylic. I've never seen this done before. I even asked him about it, and he dismissed my question entirely. And they always ask where I had my nails done before. Ironically, it's always at their place. At that point, he just shakes his head. My daughter was there also and chose her color. He grabs the same color she came in wearing, not the color she chose. They basically do what they want to do and your input matters none. Thankfully we have a little time to find a new place to go before we're due again. We won't be back. read more

Certainly not the best in the area, but there's rarely a wait...guess we know why. The edges of my nails always catch after shellac manis here. They do not take the time to properly file the edges. I have also left with my nails not feeling properly coated. They just try to get you in and get you out. Xnails in Newport is definitely the best around here, but there is always a very long wait. read more

I came here a few years ago and had a great experience. This last time I came in on a Friday and they were super steady but I didn't have to wait long. The gentleman that did my nails was distracted and kept starting his regulars instead of just finishing my manicure. My nails are filed unevenly (something I typically don't notice until I leave) and there's gel all over the sides. I don't see this gel manicure lasting much longer. Even though it wasn't the best experience I ever had I still tipped him $8 on $20 and didn't receive a thanks or have a great day. I totally disagree with the previous review. My daughter and I have been going to the salon for over five years, they are great. We feel known and appreciated when we walk in the door, the nail personnel remember our names and life experience. We have had manicures, pedicures, and fake nails and never enountered any problems. The place was recommended to me and I took my daughter to the place and we have loved it ever since. read more
