Lovely nails the place is filthy dirty the windows inside and out are filthy dirty they both doors in the front are filthy dirty the floor is filthy dirty during Covid when the plastic was up at the nail tables those plastic things were filthy dirty. That's a lot of germs. I hope you can get a cleaning person in there at night and hire somebody during the day to do the big windows and the doors. I'm sure you could afford it. This was my first time going to this location, I went with my girlfriend who use to go all the time, but stop 6 years ago due to personal reasons, and we both wanted to start getting our nails done again, so she asked me to try this place with her. Shout out to Tim, who did a great job on my tips, I requested short, and he knew exactly how short and did a great job. We went on Saturday morning and waited 5 minutes. They do manicures, pedicures, all kind of nails, and tips, and eyelash extensions ( with appointments only). On weekends they only except cash, but do have a ATM in there facility, that charges a $2.50 surcharge. read more

The people are nice, but they are very inexperienced and their nails do not come out the way they should. I will post pictures. They look messy and they cut the side of your nails for some reason. Don't file them right. My toe nail is crooked. Absolute horrible experience. way overpriced not to mention they make you use their ATM to charge you an extra three dollars. went there for the first and last time today. had to wait ONE HOUR and then the artist said he could NOT do the design I wanted. I picked another one and he said I couldn't do that either. then he switched me to another artist in the back. the 2nd artist would not stop gauking at my engagement ring. my manicure for new years sucks a$$! I went in there with needing a nail fixed from a previous place and they did so beautifully. Michelle spent time, she did not rush and is professional and kind. I tend to disagree with other reviews on nails. They always try and fit me I. Without an appointment, they do a beautiful job on nails and I have had both Danny and Michelle. I have had great pedicures their. They are very clean as well. The only thing they lost a star for was eyelashes. I had mine done and they didn't look good and she couldn't fix them. They lasted 2 weeks and I was embarrassed and tore them off. Otherwise for nails they are very good and I've tried a few in the area. And they have an ATM for cash which is no problem for me but I would imagine for others it might. read more

Extremely racist, rude, and unsanitary. If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. Please do not waste your time or money. This was my first time ever stepping foot in this location. The experience with wanting a simple eyebrow wax was so horrible I had to leave. The treatment I was given was less than humane. I was willing to spend $200 today on services had they treated me with common respect. I will be reporting this business for health code violations as well. TERRIBLE I will NEVER go back there. I did want my nails short but what I got was barely any nails When I mentioned how short they were, I was told "if I don't want that size then I can leave". When he was filing my nails it was hurting so bad because it's barely any nails. Then when he started to polish my nails I noticed how light my nails were looking I asked him if he could put another coat of polish because you could still see my nails. He gave me attitude saying they only can do 2 coats of polish and I understand that but it was barely any polish on the brush to begin with. He said if I want extra coats of polish then I have to pay more money but why when the color I chose was dark on the nail they had displayed. He had a disgusting attitude, this was the worse experience I've ever had getting my nails done. I feel like I got ripped off for $50. Don't go here you will regret it. The worst experience without The full experience. I was planning to have a service done with this salon and immediately the energy and attitude of on of the techs were extremely dismissive! Not only did they not answer the phones ALL day, I drove past the shop and they happened to be open. I had an emergency because my real nails were breaking and it was time for them to be done. The tech was just pulling price numbers out of his behind it seemed like... the prices he was saying were insanely high compared to any salon I have been to in my entire life. In any case, I came to an agreeing point and they told me the wait was 30mins. I left and came back in 20mins. When I arrive the tech asks me what am I getting done (almost in the most annoyed way...as if me asking to get my nails done was doing too much!) then when I explain yet again what I need he then says it is an additional $10 to because my nails were almond and it would be free if it's square. Which is absolutely insane! My nails are already in the shape of almond and it would have been more work to make them square. Any salon I have ever been too charges base on the change and diffculty of creating a shape outside of the current one you have. That was my final straw and I left. I clearly saw at that point he was trying anyway to turn me away from getting my nails done there because he clearly didn't either feel like doing the work and wanted to go home or he didn't want to work on a black person. The two customers that were there were of a white race. I'm not certain what it could have been but it was definitely dismissive and he should have just said they were no longer taking in anymore customers after 5pm. read more

I've only come here once since I don't live around here. 1. The color choices are plentiful. 2. $23 for my pedicure. Comfy massage chairs to sit on. 3. $40 for a gel pedicure so I declined. 4. They don't accept credit cards on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. So odd and inconvenient. The reason is that they don't get their money right away because of the weekend. 5. ATM on premises but still annoying they didn't take my credit card. 6. Average job for the pedicure. I had a basic pedicure... the way I see it is, if they can't do a basic right, how can they do more complex jobs? I probably won't find out. Good luck! read more

i was going here for several months, even brought people here with me and recommended the salon and my tech. they know me. one day, i call for my appointment and i was given some run around about my tech being sick/not there, after i tried to call a couple weeks later, they screened my calls and didn't answer. the woman who works here is mean, michelle but i loved my tech danny and was disappointed that i had to find someone else but now i go to alpha nails and they're the best so everything happens for a reason. 2023 update : was going here again to see danny for almost a year. he's very talented when sober. went for my regular fill and pedicure and was very disappointed. i tried to express to him i wasn't happy with how my basic expensive as hell for no reason french manicure came out (he never removed my old set when i asked for months so nails were breaking, insane he would argue with me when i asked to remove the old nails. ) he was shaking, antsy, rude and told me he was moving so i didn't come back. that was just weird. the shape was horrible, the french tips were uneven, he cut me on my toes and finger. the file would slip because he was rushing or shaking too much. the only nice thing about this salon is the young man who handles the phone. i called to explain how i was unhappy afterwards and how danny did not listen to me, was agitated, and rude. he made arrangements for me to get them fixed but i decided i did not want to go back. i hope they don't lose anymore customers to this kind of behavior. read more

Inside was very dirty. there were toys all over some of the nail work stations. The lady I had gone to (Lala) did my mani-gel polish. I had removed my acrylic nails had really long natural nails. She cut all of them off when i had wanted to keep them as long as possible and didn't take the rest of acrylic off. She put the he'll right over it and you can see and feel the acrylic underneath. My nails are not all the same length or shape & the french is uneven. When getting my nails done the lady was very unprofessional. She was on the phone while at the time talking to her friend that came to visit her at work. She made a comment coming at "white people". She also was talking about gay men and asked if I would "give or take". When she did the first coat of gel and had my take my hand out of the uv light there was a dead bug/fly on my nail from the inside of the light area and she then asks me to get it off. This was my go to salon in high school but once I went to college I didn't get my nails done as often just for special occasions going to whatever local place was available. I also stopped going here because I noticed it was taking 3+ hours for a fill and pedi. I decided today to go for the first time in 7 years to this salon. It's the exact same. I get my toes done I wasn't even asked what pedicure I would like just got to business no massage. For fill in, I was in the chair for a long time because the owner is constantly swiping on his phone while doing nails pausing to change the video. I asked for a simple design and he said no. He stated said design would take 30 minutes and cost extra $10 PER NAIL... I obviously said never mind and kept the basic French tip with color. When I went to pay I pulled out my card and the owner states "no card today". How? They conveniently have an ATM in the salon, I ask how much for the basic pedicure and fill he says $75 and of course the ATM has a service charge. Very disappointing but I know to go to happy nails because it's worth the extra 20 minute wait rather then going across the street to lovely. read more

I went to have my nails done here and the guy that did them. Cut my cuticles and I got an infection in my finger from him cutting it. Not only that I was pretty upset when he tried to give me a full set of nails because he told me that I needed them and I didn't need a full set of nails I went into have three fixed I have my own nails I just wanted gel to go over top of them to make them stronger and him to fix three of them. read more

I came here Bc a friend said she had a good experience...well she was wrong! Ugh I should have left but I promised my friend who was dying for a pedi/mani to get one so I stayed. First of all-my guy did wear a mask. However that's where it all went downhill. Worst mani pedi ever. When I say it's bad- it's bad. The guy was sweating all over and he didn't wear gloves. He couldn't paint my toe nails or finger nails. I asked him to fix my toes but it was apparent he was not very good. Multiple streaks all over. I tried to get him to fix it but his fix it just wasn't good. My feet were barely scrubbed. I won't be back ever! I felt bad for him though- it's hot in there and no ventilation. read more

If you're lucky you'll get Dan who is usually good although they can't keep up with current nail trends and do a basic job he's the best. Big Flaw and why they lost my business: TIME & RESPECT !!!. I shouldn't have to go to the dollar tree 2 days after and fix my toes because the owner decided she didn't feel like doing good work today. I can't believe it, I have had so many pedicures in my life and this was by far the worst and done by the owner. What a shame, shows how much she cares about her business. I'm so tired of people thinking the can charge all this money for garbage work. Especially when she is more than capable to give me a good pedicure. She CHOSE to half ass the job but didn't choose to cut the price. Not to mention the fill I got also didn't even last a week. I went here twice but think won't go anymore because their prices seem to to be overpriced. One time I needed to get my nails done and old polish removed and I was in a rush also and let them know. They had only 2 people in salon. They let me soak my hands in a bowl of acetone for like 25-30 Minutes!!! Then I said I can't wait for anymore + my hands can't be in acetone for so long. They charged me $10 for nothing. Then they thought that maybe it would be nice to actually do something and maybe at least make sure I don't have nothing left on my nails before I go out. Kim was my technician for a gel manicure and she did a nice job. Cost was very reasonable.

I got a French manicure which probably lasted for 15mins. It's good if you want your nails to look good for a day or two. But not for a whole week. The whole experience wasn't like a regular manicure. They really didn't soak my nails, or even shaped my nails, or even properly cleaned my cuticles. And they use tools that they don't properly sanitize. Overall I wasn't amazed for my first time in this salon. read more

I don't like the job they did on my nails. Not only did the girl not clean all my cuticles, she also did not cut my nails well. I'm going to end up going home to fix them. I don't plan on coming back to this place. I also think they could be more sanitary in the way they clean and display there tools. They only wipe down the foot spas and did not see them clean it well after I was done (another customer went into it almost immediately). I did a manicure and pedicure for $32 and they wanted to charge an extra 5$ just to buff the nails...(I can do it my self and get the buffing pad for $5 at the store...) I would not recommend this place. I've been to better, more sanitary places and places where they put a little more care into getting your nails done. I've been going to Lovely Nails about 2 months now after I had the most horrific experience at the Stroud Mall's nail shop. I love it there. The atmosphere, the people, Tim, his wife & their son - the place is so clean and full of warmth. I've gotten my nails done by both Tim and his wife and they do an amazing job. I got my eyebrows done for the first time the other day and those too meet beyond my expectations. I let the wife do them :). The wife has done my toes before and then there's an older lady who has done them too. No complaints there either. They take appointments M-Thurs, but I highly recommend them!! read more

I don't understand the negative reviews. I went here on a whim while in town and some time to spare, figured I'd relax with a pedicure. I was hesitant to go here but saw the reviews elsewhere were ok. At first I thought the place had a weird vibe, but it was just very empty with only one other customer - in the middle of the day on a Tuesday, which is not exactly prime nail time. It is NOT dirty here at all. I got a gel pedicure (which I get every time due to extreme durability) and am VERY happy with the results. I'm not normally thrilled with a guy doing my toes (my own hang up) but this was fine. The removal process of my old gel was one of the best I've ever experienced. They did use a machine however I'm used to and ok with that. He took his time, honestly one of the best foot massages I've ever had, and my toes look great. Over a week later, still in perfect shape. I wouldn't hesitate to go here again if I was in the area. I decided to give this review because I almost didn't go here. Please look at reviews everywhere. Went with two other girls, we all needed pedicures, one of us needed a full set and the other two needed gel manicures. To start, they half ass we're taking temperatures and they kept taking their masks down and off. The gel manicure I received was HORRIFIC. She did FIVE coats of color, cut two of my cuticles, and the top coat was streaky and had fuzzies in it. The full set was awful, so blocky and way to thick and they were all misshapen. The gel manicure and pedicure cost 85 dollars which isn't outrageous at a place that does quality work. We are so disappointed. Will never go back. read more
