Went in to do pedicures for my two children and myself and a manicure. For my 5 yr old daughter they charged me $30 for paint only! They didn't even fill her chair thingy with water totally scamming on hers. Which was suppose to be $25 but they included $5 for tip without informing me. So her I paid $30. They charged for my son who is 6 $45 for his pedicure and I asked to remove his ingrown toe nails because he has a history of getting them since he was born all they did was cut the nail in a curve form and 2 weeks later he now has a toe infection. The price for him was $40 and they also included $5 tip without letting me know. The infection could've been preventable if they just did what they got paid to do. My pedicure and manicure came out to $60. Total I paid $135 plus I still left $30 dollar tip for each lady that worked on us. But the whole entire time I was being charged and I was think why on earth am paying soooo much! I could've been a loyal customer but this is wrong to charge customers not informing that you're including the tip on the bill. And on top of that not even doing the service correctly and complete. I'm very disappointed in myself for wasting money like that especially taking my children there and now I have to care for my son's toe nail with antibiotics. I hate to say this but I'd avoid going in here unless you're ok with getting ripped off. read more

This is my regular nail salon. The last 2 times I've been there I made an appointment but had to wait 25-30 minutes before they could get to me. Another woman came in for nails and was waited on immediately. I guess pedicures are not a priority, even with an appointment. I guess I need to find another salon. Ana at Lovely Nails did a terrific job on my ombré and even offered to do something a little extra at no charge. Ive been getting my nails done for a very very long time so I know when a nail tech does a good job or not. A lot of nail techs will not create that APEX look on acrylic nails and will leave them flat and easy to break. She did soo good I will definitely go out of my way to see her again. read more

This isn't my normal location that I visit, however it is very close to where I live and I have an important work event that requires me (and my hands) on camera that will be used on socials and televised nationally. I was in and out in an hour and my nails look like it. If I wanted to pay $100 for a basic gel mani/pedi I could have done that at home. My nails look like I did them. They were poorly shaped and the polish looks sloppy and uneven. I called to check prices before I came and was told a gel manicure was $33 and pedi was $40. Why was I charged $90?! The lack of detail is horrible. I was the only one in there!!! There was no reason at all to rush. My hands are dryer than when I went in. I told my bf I didn't like them and I showed him. He could even tell what the issue was and I wasn't overreacting. I won't be coming be back despite the other good reviews. read more

Okay, I came back here today. And it totally lived up to my memories of my visit last year. Even though there were only 3 girls working, they got me started right away. Nice and hot spa for my feet (but not too hot!), salt scrub, hot stone massage, parafin wax, callus removal, the whole deal. Got their "Deluxe Combo" which is the best pedi they have and a basic mani. Total was $45. $45 for well over an hour of pampering. AMAZING. My toes are great, my calluses are under control, my skin and legs are so smooth, and all the dead skin/cuticles on my fingernails are taken care of. Everyone here was so nice, the chair was comfortable, the price was reasonable (I tip really well because my feet are ticklish, so I feel bad for anyone who has to try to restrain those things), and the TV had NCIS playing on it, rather than some terrible infomercial (like some places). I love Lovely Nails and highly recommend it. I'll keep driving up here to north Carrollton from the Addison area, even though there are about a hundred nail places between here and there. read more

The lady was very nice and the place very clean. I am giving this a 3 stars because they ran out of the gold glitter polish and was not enough to cover my nail. I just moved to the area, so I've been shopping around to find the best place to get a gel mani/pedi. I've been to Lovely Nail a couple of times. The first time I was there, my gel mani lasted a whole WEEK before starting to chip. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and give them a second chance. Boy was I wrong to do that. The girl that was chosen to do my nails had an appt scheduled so she rushed through my entire manicure. She also left me waiting and forgot about me when she was supposed to do a top cost on my toes. My very expensive gel mani lasted a WHOLE DAY before my nails started chipping. The nail polish by my cuticle started peeling upward and my nails looked horrible. I went back to have them fix it and they were very rude about it. Don't waste your time or money here. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. As soon as I sat in the chair to get my nails done she told me it was 5$ extra for the color, 5$ extra for the length, and 5$ extra for the shape.... all on top of the 30$ I was already paying. Saturday was the last time I will be visiting here. *Sigh* off to find a better salon. This salon is owned by a very sweet family, is very good about cleanliness, and does great eyebrow waxes (when you get the right person)...but they do not deliver consistent service. Last weekend, I brought my mom for a pedicure only. Pedicures only because my last two sets I had done here looked like crap. They were done by the thin man who works here, then I had a fill by his wife who cut my nails horribly uneven and just did a very poor job because she was in a hurry. I already knew I was done with this place as far as manicures go, but after our visit this weekend I'm just done in general. My nail tec (the man who did my set that I mentioned above) switched to another customer in the middle of my pedi., which I usually wouldn't mind. But I got his wife's mother. She is so very sweet but incredibly slow. She messed up my big toe nail and literally took 20 minutes removing the polish, repainting, removing the polish again and repainting. At this point it had taken about an hour and a half to do my pedicure (I'm not including our wait to be seated). My mom had been sitting at the drying table for 30 minutes waiting for me to finish. As I was walking out I realized the polish had come off my big toe, AGAIN, but I didn't have the patience at this point to have it fixed a third time. Several hours later I wore shoes and my polish was a mess when I took off my shoes. This confirmed my suspicion that the polish I had on my toes was old, "gloopy", and didn't dry correctly, which is why she had such trouble applying it correctly in the first place. I have been going here for about 3 years now. Lovely nails is a family owned business where everyone is very friendly and accommodating. I walk in and they always have a spot available. No Waiting!!! In 3 years I think I only had to wait once and it was only for about 10 minutes. Everyone is very nice and you get the best service out there. I got a regular pedicure and shellac manicure. I walked in on a weekday at 5:00 with no appointment and got right in. The service was okay and the prices are less than I'm used to paying in Dallas. After one day my pedicure polish was chipped (pedicures usually look good for about a month on me) and after three days my shellac looked really worn (it usually looks perfect for at least a week). I hate leaving a bad review for this place, but I don't want anyone to experience what I have to go through! The past few months I've been getting Nexgen manicures aka dips at this place done by Anna. Nice girl and my nails looked great when I left. I go back every 3 weeks to get them redone. This past week instead of going here I was getting my hair done, so decided to just get my nails done there. When my dip powder manicure soaked off there were black spots on my nails! The nail tech said it was the beginning of fungus, but luckily I caught it and she was able to buff it off. Fungus forms by getting moisture caught in between the nail, but the reason I get the dip powder manicure is because it doesn't lift like gel or acrylic and there's less chance of fungus! Needless to say, I won't be going back to Lovely Nails since something is off with their Nexgen nails application. The nail tech said you should be able to leave these on up to 4 weeks without worrying, but mine barely made it after 2! read more

I had never had artificial nails before, so I went there since they are the closest to where I live. The thing that annoyed me most was the fact that no one there spoke proper English. Before getting my nails done I really wanted to see and talk about my choices and their prices but no one there could communicate and worse of all, they don't even try. All they want is you to come , get what you want, pay and leave. Even though, the customer service really pissed me off, I still tipped the guy who did my nails. Then they keep talking in their foreign language among themselves, which also made me very uncomfortable while I was there.
