I went in today and I didn't really like my eyebrows which is not really a big deal they grow back fast but I felt uncomfortable when another lady came by to see them and they both started talking in a different language and did a little giggle which made me feel uncomfortable and discouraged. They might have not said anything bad but just being in that situation made me feel uncomfortable :(

This was a HORRIBLE experience!!! The lash tech got glue in my eyes and had me hold a fan to dry…read morethe glue as I'm crying and telling her I'm in pain, making it even worse as the drying glue cuts the corneas of BOTH of my eyes. Although one was much worse than the other. The tech kept telling me, "Oh it's your first time, don't close your eyes." Yeah right! I looked in the mirror and asked what I was seeing and it was glue stuck to the rim inside the lid! She started flushing my eye with water and grabbed a Q-tip to pick off what dried with some solution that burned. OMG, I barely made it driving home with blurred vision and ran to my husband crying even more! It was so bad! I tried taking the lashes off the one eye that was swelling and it didn't take the pain away, so I went to the emergency room just a few hours after the lashes were glued. I was prescribed several medications to treat my eyes as well as several follow-up visits to an Ophthalmologist for continued care and treatment. Even the Ophthalmologist had to remove glue that was still inside my lid and take my lashes off, blocking tear ducts and losing some of my natural lashes. The ONLY THING THIS SALON DID WAS GIVE MY STUPID LASH MONEY BACK!!! After all I went through!!! :(

This review is on threading and lash services only…read more I needed to clean up a little after moving to san antonio. I just came here because it was 10min from my house and had great yelp reviews. Came in at 11am (opening) on a Thursday. I came in for threading (brow, upper lip and chin) and lashes. Waited about 15 min while a customer in front of me got their eyebrows threaded. No biggie . It was nice and clean and everyone was friendly as I came in and waited. I was quoted $50 for it all by a gentleman in the front. I thought that was amazing. I was used to paying at least $100 for all of that in other salons. In the end my total came out to $44! I was very pleased. When the customer ahead of me finished up, i headed to the chair. The threading lady (I think the owner) asked could i wait while she took care of a woman who came AFTER me because all she need was her brows done. I had time so I'm like "sure, no big deal." I was off of work so I had time. It was another 5 min wait and she got me right in her chair. She quickly (Not rushed) threaded my face. A great job if you ask me !! she was very gentle around my lip area, which always hurts for me lol. Last she did my lashes. I didn't know what I wanted so I let her choose. They turned out great! She was very gentle and understanding because I kept stopping . Lol I have no natutal lashes so it always is a battle putting them on me. She made it work! She was so nice. Her hospitality alone would bring me back. My overall experience was quick and I felt welcomed . The quality of service was amazing as well . Glad I came. Would recommend to anyone ! This is a great place to get pampered. I can't speak on hair care because I have sisterlocks and I go to a person who specializes in my hair style. I will come back soon to check out the mani and pedi service.
