I moved to Abilene four months ago. When I found that this place that offers threading I was excited. Before I sat down in the chair I told the lady that I wanted to "clean it up." It should have been simple, remove stray hair, trim a little off the ends and so forth. After 5 minutes I was a bit worried. When she was done, she ask if I wanted eyebrow powder on. I ask her if I can see her work and if there is a mirror for me to look at. She handed me the hand mirror and that's when it went down hill. She took off half of what I had literally! She reshape it and fit it to her liking. She thinned it out completely. I told her that I was not happy about the service. It took me over a year to grow out my eyebrows. I did not want the 'thin' pencil looking eyebrows. She replied to me that it takes less than a year to grow it back. How can she tell me that when I spent a year of growing it out? I even told her that prior to her response. She said that what she given me was a 'clean up' and 'clean up' in both our views were totally different. I do not understand because whether it's a hair salon or another place that does threading, I always have the same shape. 'Clean up' does not mean to reshape. She did not apologize for her service at all nor was she sympathetic. Instead of charging me the full amount of $11 she charged me $9. I am not sure if anyone else had an awful experience like I did. I could not find any reviews for this service and decided to take a chance. Boy was I wrong! Now I will spend another year trying to grow everything out. I will never come back to this place for any type of service. The customer service I received was horrible. Best of luck for those who decide to give this place a try. You might have a better experience than myself. Correction, it takes my brows at least 1.5 yrs to fully grow out. I would rather drive to Dallas, Tx to get my brows threaded than go here.
