Specialties
Back In Place specializes in Directional Non-Force Technique® (DNFT) Chiropractic, a gentler, more effective way to address pain in both soft tissue and bone structures. Unlike other methods, DNFT is free from forceful, jolting pressure and accompanying "cracking" sounds. The result is more effective, longer-lasting initial visits without the need for frequent followup. Dr. Pamela S. Lovell has a wide range of experience within the field of chiropractic, from sports medicine to equine medicine, and over 20 years of experience with the DNFT method.
History
Established in 1999.
Established by Dr. Pamela Lovell in 1999, Back In Place Chiropractic began providing chiropractic care to patients in Paso Robles, California. After 4 tremendously successful years in this location, a larger space was needed and the office was moved to its current location in Templeton, California. With more room to accommodate her growing patient list, Dr. Lovell added Dr. Matthew Longwill to the practice. "Dr. Matt", as patients called him, was part of the successful practice for 7 years until 2011 when he and his wife moved to Southern California, beginning a practice of their own. Dr. Pam continues to serve all her patients from throughout the California Central Coast area.
Meet the Business Owner: Dr. Pam L.
Dr. Pam has been affectionately called Dr. Pam by friends and family from a very young age. Her caring nature, healing quality, attention to detail, and desire to do the doctoring on two legged or four legged patients, has defined her for a long time. Originally drawn toward veterinary medicine, she received a degree in animal science from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 1982.
She discovered chiropractic in 1984 and became a regular patient along with her husband, Larry. In 1994, a sports injury caused Pam to seek care from a D.N.F.T. Doctor in Santa Barbara, CA, Alice Nelson, D.C. The results were dramatic and life changing.
Mentored by Dr. Alice, Pam enrolled in Palmer West Chiropractic College (PWCC). She graduated Cum Laud with a special award in clinical excellence in 1999 before beginning a practice of her own in Paso Robles, CA.
In her free time, Dr. Pam enjoys training her advanced dressage horse, Dylan, in the Grand Prix, as well as hiking, skiing and walking with the dogs.
