Love Your Tan is amazing!! I went in one day looking to purchase a tanning package and Mario was so helpful! He explained the different options and the pros of each bed so I could get a better idea of what I was looking for. I'm pretty fair skinned, but I love that I don't burn when I go tanning here. I purchased one of their tanning lotions which not only smells really good, but it helps enhance my tan. To ensure I wouldn't burn, Mario started me out at a lesser time in the bed until gradually going higher. As a courtesy Mario started me in the highest bed (even though I purchased I different package) where believe it or not I would be less likely to burn, and he was absolutely right! I came out with some color, but not burnt. He's very knowledgeable about his business. The other day it was my birthday and I received a text for a free spray tan! I was so excited and left HIGHLY satisfied with it. I didn't come out looking orange at all, but completely bronzed and I loved it. If you're looking for a tanning salon this is the place to go!! Found a really awesome Groupon, 3 sessions for $19, so I HAD to take it! I've passed by this place a million times but I've gone to Beach Bum in the past. The receptionist was really nice and set me up in the system no problem. My first session of the three was in their nicest and most premier bed. I'm pretty fair-skinned so usually I expect to get a slight burn my first time tanning but I was shocked even after 8/9 mins I didn't burn. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or if that means the bulbs weren't strong enough... same experience happened to me my second time. My only other complaint also is that the room I was put in for my second time was extremely tiny with little room to change, which slightly bothered me. Otherwise I probably would come back if I needed a tan! read more

I travel from LYNBROOK to come here. I was a customer of the NEW owner Mario for the past 28 years. The staff is very nice and I love all the beds. Mario is very conscience about safety..which is why the 24 hour rule is in effect..(for the woman who complained about it).. I would rather have someone who cares about my well being then someone who just wants my money! There is a good variety of lotions and packages and NO pressure. The place is clean and maintained. This is my go to tanning salon! My job is local to the area and it is a nice stress reliever during lunch time or after work. The owner, Mario is very nice, always accommodating and there is always a special going on outside of the Groupon that won't break the bank. The beds do not burn you as they are bronzing beds and I was able to start seeing color after the 1st session. The lotions are high quality and Mario takes the time to educate you on the difference between buying a knock off lotion which have added chemicals that turn your skin orange and inhibit you from getting tan vs. the lotions sold in the salon that bring out a natural tan. read more

I purchased a groupon for a spraytan with the VersaSpa. I had used this machine before at different tanning salons so I was comfortable with going. I've spray tanned for almost every major event and have never been dissatisfied. Nowadays, I usually tan myself, but I was lazy and wanted to make sure it was perfect and even for the event I had the next day. Boy, was I in for a shock. When I got to Love Your Tan, the woman at the desk was very confused about how to apply the G.roupon and I stood there for about 15 minutes waiting for her to figure it out. She picked the tan color for me, without consulting me and I went into the room. Like I've said I've been tanning many times before, and know the VersaSpa well. When I came out, I noticed automatically that I was a splotchy mess and that the color was WAY too orange. Hoping it would come off or be better when it developed or in the rinse I said nothing. Now a few days later, I am still splotchy everywhere, and it looks like dirt, not a tan. I also have gotten a rash. Save yourself and your skin and DO NOT come here. After going to beach bum for a year and dealing with uneducated teenagers that giggle and gossip all day , I decided to try love your tan. I was greeted by a girl named dee who was so knowledgable and got me set up fast in a bed to try out. Afterwards I was offered complementary water and use of their free moisture bar. The bed was clean and the music wasn't commercialized techno that you get from beach bum. I decided on a tanning package which is the best deal of 60 dollars unlimited in ANY BED INCLUDING THE ALL BRONZE BED!!!!! It is expensive for one session so this salon will benifit someone that is looking for a package deal versus touch up tanning or sporatic tanning. You will not find a better deal in regards to a tanning package that offers the beds that love your tan offers. It is a small salon but I would rather have that knowing the staff knows my name and I'm not just another person. P.s- common sense is you will never get tan off of one session so please know that these beds will get you tan. I have been going here for over a year and will never go anywhere else. read more

I needed a new tanning place for a while, but honestly even though I've been tanning for a few years on and off I didn't know much about it. Mario (the owner) was the most helpful and knowledgeable business owner I've ever met. Explained each bed to me, even the differences between lotions in detail. He didn't make it seem like I was bothering him by being there like every single other place I've been to. I love supporting small businesses so I'm happy I went here. Also, this establishment is INCREDIBLY clean compared to the larger competitor and other salons I've been to. My bed was already clean and he cleaned it again for me before I got in and showed me how to use it and made sure I was 100% comfortable before i continued- when does that ever happen? Never. Decided to go and try this place out due to the impressive reviews. I asked for the silver tanning option and the lady said "she couldnt find it" so I should just do the gold bed. I agreed and then stated she is not even going to give me 8 minutes because its really strong, meanwhile I paid for 10 minutes. She offered me the most inexpensive lotion which was $8. 8 freaking dollars for a little tanning packet!!! It gets worse.. I get to the tanning bed and it says 6 minutes... The woman I dealt with signed me up for a package that I did not want. I was moving within the month so I wanted the cheapest plan with no commitment. She signed me up and 2 months later I realize I'm still being billed. Evidently she signed me up for a 3 month commitment anyways and when I called not only was I not reimbursed for something I did not want to purchase but she was rude in top of it. read more
