Been coming here since we moved from Southern California to Houston 5 years ago, and is hands down…read morethe best place to bring your pets in the area! We have a pit mix and a lab and they came for training, and it was was the best investment that we made for us and for our pets! We have also used their boarding services and constantly receive updates and pictures! Go here for all your pet needs you won't be disappointed!!!!!

TLDR: Our dog was attacked and they claim that he scratched himself. First photo is a pic from them…read moreand the rest are after the area was shaved for veterinary care. Judge for yourself if the injuries are scratches or bite marks and if a dog is physically able to scratch itself on the inside of its ear. They are very clearly puncture wounds to us and our vet. --------------------------------------- Dropped off our blind dog 11.24.2025 at roughly 3pm. The morning of 11.28.2025 we received a message that his ear had been bleeding and they believed it was from scratching so they provided him with the expected medical care. Afternoon of 11.29.2025 they told us he was "shaking". My wife was able to pick him up early and take him to the emergency vet (Saturday evening and regular vet closed) who shaved and treated the area and gave him antibiotics. We did follow-up with our regular vet and they determined that the injuries were puncture wounds from a dog attack. When we told them Fur Paws said the injuries were from him scratching himself they looked at us like we had just told them 1 + 1 = 3. In spite of the records we provided from the vet showing his treatment history and their diagnosis of "dog bite wounds and vestibular disease" Fur Paws claims he arrived there with some condition that led to him scratching himself (on the inside of his ear too!). He arrived 11.24, they noticed wounds 11.28, and by the afternoon of 11.29 he was shaking so he had a fever. It takes 24-72 hours for infection and then a fever to occur so one can do the math on their claim that he arrived with an ailment already. Then you add in that these are clearly not scratch marks and you see that they're questioning our intelligence with their explanation. Send your dog here at your own risk.

Money and Penny had a 10/10 time. When we were initially introduced to Dogtopia, we met Alejandro…read more Unfortunately he told us to pick up doggies at 12 but that doesnt apply since we took the spa package. However, it's what you do to rebound from that right? So Alejandro saw us and apologized so it doesn't really matter. At the end of the day, our furry children had a good time. They had a blueberry facial, they had bandanas, they also had a lot of exercise and 1:1 time. What I loved-- is how we can check the pet cameras to make sure they are ok! They also did brain games too and they were so tired when we picked them up! Money usually cries in the car but he didn't cry at all on our way back so I could tell that dogtopia did a very great job. Jasmine also explained everything well. The pups also had their nails trimmed too!!!! I loved how they center the dogs around like what group they can be too! Penny and Money were in the medium dog size group for medium energy! Separated from highest energy dogs! That kind of thought is so cute!

We entrusted Dogtopia Houston-Galleria with our beloved baby boy, while we were out of town,…read morebelieving he would be safe, properly monitored, and cared for. He entered their facility healthy and spent several days in daycare followed by five nights of boarding. According to Dogtopia, his daily wellness checks were consistently 100% fine, with ZERO signs of illness. Yet suddenly, he was rushed to a veterinarian in CRITICAL condition, suffering from a collapsed lung, infection, and other severe complications that ultimately led to his death. How could a dog supposedly monitored daily deteriorate so severely without any warning signs being noticed? We strongly question whether Dogtopia exercised the proper care, attention, and supervision they were entrusted and paid to provide. What makes this tragedy even more unacceptable is Dogtopia's lack of urgency, transparency, and accountability. Their initial call failed to communicate how serious his condition was. It wasn't until the veterinarian contacted us that we understood he was fighting for his life. Earlier and clearer communication could have given us an opportunity to make critical treatment decisions sooner. Instead of helping us understand what happened, the owner immediately suggested he was already sick before boarding, contradicting their own reports of perfect wellness checks. When we requested written records and video footage, the owner outright refused to provide them. To us, this reflects a disturbing lack of compassion, responsibility, and transparency toward a family whose dog died while entrusted to their care. The most heartbreaking reality is that our baby boy is DEAD, and NOTHING we do will ever bring our baby boy back. No apology, explanation, or action can undo this devastating loss. When the owner stated that deaths at Dogtopia are rare, my response was simple: BUT IT HAPPENED TO OUR BABY BOY! Even one death deserves serious investigation and accountability. We trusted Dogtopia with a member of our family, and that trust has been completely shattered. From one dog parent to another, please think twice before entrusting your beloved pet to Dogtopia. Our baby boy deserved better, and no family should have to experience this heartbreak.

The reverse board and train has helped them be ok with people coming to their home, knocking, making noise. It makes it easy to practice on my own.

After several training inquiries with multiple companies, I immediately heard back from Karma, and a call with the owner was set up. He asked me all about Juice and explained the options he thought would be best. After deciding on "board and train" he said he thought he had the perfect person in mind and they would reach out soon. A couple days later I received correspondence from Sammye Darling, a trainer for Karma, who wanted to set up a call to talk about Juice. During our call she was very confident that she would be able to help with teaching him basic obedience and jumping. We settled on a 10 day timeframe with the expectation that it would be imperative to continue the training ourselves afterwards. (She would've preferred 14 days because that last few days is really when the training sinks in but I assured her we would stay on it) Scheduling was easy and convenient while we went out of town on vacation. Sammye was warm, gentle, and friendly upon dropping Juice off with her and I trusted her immediately. She stayed in constant communication with us, sending pictures, and updates on his progress. He took some time, he's stubborn, but eventually she saw the switch and said he was doing great! I missed him so much but knew he was in good hands with Sammye. Fast forward 10 days later and the day came to pick him up and I couldn't wait to see him. I'll spare you all the details of baby talk, kisses, hugs, etc. but it was a joyous reunion that had us in awe of the things he had learned. We spent about an hour there learning the commands, how to reward them, and practicing before heading home. She worked wonders and we were so excited to go home and continue the work. Before leaving we scheduled our follow up in person training session for a couple weeks out so Sammye could come see him in his own environment and see if we actually kept up with the training which we did! He is doing great! No, he's not perfect and we're still working on certain things but he's a different dog in many aspects. He has a "place" for when we're eating and now does it without asking and gets "off" the bed when it's time (he's too big to sleep with us) so he has his own. Those are two giant wins for us and we can't thank Sammye enough! He learned so much more and we continue to work with him everyday. Karma was professional and quick to respond which is always something I appreciate. Sammye, our trainer, was a delight who was professional, caring, thoughtful, hard-working, and made Juice feel right at home (in her own home) while teaching him some manners. I can't recommend her enough! Juice definitely missed her and was so excited to see her when she came over which further solidified how amazing she was. Call Karma and ask for Sammye as your trainer. You won't regret it!
