I went to Tig for take down service of the hairstyle in the picture. This is the second time I've come here for take down service and been satisfied. As an African American woman who loves her protective styling, I loathe the take down process. Each time I've come here I've called the day of and been able to obtain same day services. I didn't have to schedule a month out like some places. I wasn't overcharged for length or size of braids. I wasn't overcharged for a wash and blow dry. I admit I was skeptical going to anyone [non-black] but I'm so glad I took a chance and you should too. They were gentle with my hair and used heat protection. Oh my take down included a shampoo, condition, blow dry, and flat iron. I opted to forego the flat iron because I wear it in its natural fluffiness. I thought they were kind and communicated what I wanted the entire time. I was in and out within 2.5 hours I think. Each time I've gone, it's only been max 4 people and that includes the stylists, which is nice. Some places are fast but packed and the customer service takes a back seat. I had good service and I don't want to gate-keep so you are welcome. Tell one, tell all....maybe not all lol. Enjoy~

I came here for a skin tag removal procedure and I am very pleased with the results…read more Dr. Kim performed my procedure. She took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure I was as comfortable as possible during the process. The procedure itself took about 15 minutes, not counting the additional time needed to let the numbing cream kick in. As she started the procedure, we realized that more numbing cream was needed, so that was another 10 to 15 minutes tacked on to the time. Unfortunately, the procedure was not as painless as was initially described, but it's not prohibitively uncomfortable. Dr. Kim checked in with me throughout the process and if I needed a break, she would take a pause and give me one. After the procedure, Dr. Kim gave me some wound care instructions as well as some ointment to put on the site as it healed. I'm happy to report that there was no pain or discomfort after the procedure. Procedure side, I love the energy of this place. There's all kinds of holistic, homeopathic, and ayurvedic materials in here including incense, tea, crystals, candles, sage bundles, palo santo, and all sorts of sprays and tonics to help purify your home or your environment. There are even gift sets for all the holistic homegirls in your life. They also sell accessories including ankle bracelets and custom waist beads imported from Ghana. Every single one of the staff members I've met has been absolutely wonderful. Warm, and friendly, and welcoming. I can't wait to come back and try some of the other services offered by this wellness spa-- I've especially got my eye on a good, long massage and guided stretch session.

I have a question WALDORF, how do you all give this place almost 4 stars for work like this?! I don't like to post my feet unless I'm getting paid but I had to make an exception because what? I went in with the intent to get a pedicure and gel nail but when I'm somewhere new, I start with seeing how they do on my pedicure first. This was a Spanish speaking shop across from a Spanish Market and next door to a liquor store which is neither here nor there but for informational purposes only. Listen, it was quiet (went on a Monday around 11:30am) and the ladies seemed super sweet but yall.... I'm sure she has no idea how displeased but b/c I'd rather receive mediocre service than gripe and complain I just grinned and bared it. I'm no Karen okay! But yall It's only remotely not that bad only because it's gel. I mean how much can you mess that up, right! But yall, it was way too costly for how sloppy the work and just not worth it. I did the basic gel pedicure with paraffin. Something I don't do often. I selected a light or Barbie pink color but I changed it because she was having so much trouble finding my color choice. She simply handed me a price list and did not clarify my desire of service. 5. The paint was sloppy and all on my cuticles and top of toe. I have fat, wide feet with a short, very square nail bed. So I don't require a ton of polish. I like sharp line and thin even coats. I am so sick of this! I gotta go all the way to VA for professional nail service because Waldorf girlies just can't get it right. Waldorf yall full of subpar services and I'm over it!! I'm sorry to the owner for this harsh review but I gotta be real. Consistency is key the people will pay more for that. My money is too hard earned for this foolishness. The nails are really just barely okay and that not okay. I could have saved my $65 and did it myself. ‍Never again!‍
