I scheduled an appointment, had to put a a nonrefundable $25 deposit in order to confirm my appointment. When I arrived and went upstairs, I was told that her salon was no longer in business, and that they have had a hard time with customers showing up because they have an appointment. When they told me that, I was disappointed that I had lost a $25 dollar deposit! This lady still has her website up and is collecting deposits! Total SCAM guys! Please don't make an appointment, and DON'T put your deposit down. She is no longer in business. I thought I'd write a new review, now this lady is taking deposits on appointments and tells you multiple times she's meeting you and doesn't. Next excuse, she just got in a car accident so she can't make it. Forgetting she told me the day prior or mixing it up with another client. She tells me the same story the next day. I smelled a scam so I did some research...Her business is still in the same location,only she hasn't came in for months. I looked up case search, looks like she might be getting evicted but still is taking deposits. I've made a call to the district attorney and I will go to court over my deposit because she had no intention of doing the service in the first place. I hate a scammer. I want to make sure no one else loses their money or wastes their time like I have. Drove there 3 times. I hope this review will prevent someone else from using this business. She pushed my appt back 30 mins and then got a flat on her way to the studio which pushed the appt back even further. She was supper friendly and communicated though. My lashes were rushed as result of course. I did like the finished look but they literally started shedding the first day! I should've known something when it only took her like 30 mins to finish. I have never had professional lashes applied so quickly. By day 3 the gaps were pretty noticeable. A waste of my time and money. read more

Nice studio, but communication & punctuality are lacking. She was running about 45 minutes behind schedule which should be communicated to clients before they arrive. My time is just as valuable as yours. Then the following day she was supposed to complete my lashes 9 AM. I arrived at salon at 8:59 AM. After waiting 10 minutes, I tried to call her phone and the phone was off (she did say something about getting a new phone) and also tried to text. Don't waste your time here. read more

This place WAS an AWFUL experience, so very unprofessional!!!!!! I got my lashes done by her and they were good for the first couple of days. she charged me way more than she should of, her pricing are high for a very poor experience. a couple days after i got them done I noticed that I had a bad reaction to the glue, so I contacted her immediately after the glue made my eyes fucking burn. I asked her multiple times to remove them the proper way and she ignored me for days on end, at this point i had to seek medical attention so i can get these lashes off my eyes, then answers a week in a half later and says you can come today and I will remove them, let alone by this point I fucking took them out myself. ( removing a set of lashes because someone had an allergic reaction to the glue should have been her first priority not her last), she obviously had better stuff to do then help me.This was such a PAINFUL experience to take them out myself, AS i TRIED TO take them out my natural remedies nothing worked,SO unfortunately I had to TAKE THEM OUT INDIVIDUALLY which made MY eyes BLEED!!!! after talking with lash professionals from a cosmetologist center they said that her glue was cheap and that she rushed doing them. she told me that I would only get a 30% refund and that right there is ridiculous after having to seek medical attention she should have given me A FULL refund after such A POOR EXPERIENCE! I will not be referring any friends or family to this business, if she can't run a business properly then she shouldn't have one. THE LASH ROOM IS ONLY LOOKING FOR MONEY AND NOTHING MORE, she could care less about your lashes and what happens to them. This woman is so freaking unprofessional I can't even believe it. Let me tell you my complete experience from start to finish. This salon is by appointment only so I booked on. Tuesday for an open spot they had on Wednesday. I was extremely pleased they had such late appointments because I work in Va and we all know how that traffic is so I booked late enough so I wouldn't be late encase I was running late. So Wednesday morning on my way to work I get a phone call asking me if I could move my appointment to another time because she was moving and was told she would work with me for any time slot I wanted on Friday and give me a discount for the inconvenience . I chose to go with the same time since I work fridays too. On Friday I texted her early in the afternoon since I hadn't heard from her to confirm my appointment. I hear nothing. 45 minutes before my appointment time I text her again I hear nothing so I call the number which she called me from And get her fiancée who explains to me she can't take me and he would have her call me back. I wait an hour and hear nothing so then I find the number off her page and call her phone she picks up saying how she just changed plans and had to get a new phone. Stuff happens so at this point I wasn't even sweating it. She than tells me she can take me early the next morning which is crunching things for me but ok I want to get these lashes done. She tells me as soon as she gets off she would send me the address where I can meet her. I don't hear from her until the next morning at 730 sending me the address than she calls me at 8 to see if she can change my appointment because she has another client at the time she scheduled me for the night before. Ummmm no ma'am. I've now planned my day around the 9 am appointment time. She then tells me she won't be there until 930. Wait what!?!?!? So at this point is where I ask for a refund. She goes on to tell me there is no refund than has every excuse in the book on what was going on in her life. I'm sorry but I'm the client and I tried working with you. Not only did you cancel my appointment but than you are not giving me a refund because of stuff going on in your life. If I had canceled all 3 appointments than by all means I shouldn't get a refund as a customer but the stylist canceled all of them because she was inconvenienced and still kept my money. Please beware with this place. Update: 14 days later after writing a bad review I did get a refund. The apology was so half hearted. And I got a phone call for which I didn't answer. If through our whole interaction this business woman couldn't be professional enough to pick up the phone to talk to a client and only send me texts than keep that same energy while you are trying to get me to take down my negative review... I made an appointment for yesterday at 6:30 pm. I'm not sure if the lady who was suppose to do my lashes so I can't tell you the name of the lash tech. She then proceeded to tell me to come at 6:45. I tell her that's fine, because she was running behind. I kept asking her if I needed to pay with cash. she ignored it and would respond to everything else. I know things happen so I was ok will coming a little later. I text her I'm coming. I pull up and that's when I get a text saying bring cash after I had arrived on top of that she tells me to come at 7:30 that's when I start to get annoyed. I still understand her and come back. I had told her I was coming and I had to go to the ATM (which was in the vape shop) which is in the same shopping center as the lash room. I call her my calls don't go through. I text her and my messages went from blue to green. She had blocked me. I called of of other people's phones just to be sure. so since I was blocked my cousin called and the phone started to ring a man picked up I started to explain everything and she starts talking saying she thought I was playing games (which is very bazaar due to the fact that she kept changing my times and blocked me) she apologize and tells me she'll give me $50 off my lash set which was $100. we confirm that 11:00 am on May 16th she'll do my lashes for the discounted price. she unblocks me yesterday and tells me she'll see me tomorrow. I text her confirming we were still meeting and that I was on the way and I get no response. my messages starts going green again and I stand outside waiting and calls don't even go through. I get even more irritated, because she stood me up once again. I get someone else to call her no answer. I'm sorry I don't know her name so you don't waste you time with her as well, but just be mindful if they keep changing your appointment and don't show. I came back today, because I trusted she would actually show and wanted to get my lashes done, but lesson learned. Glad I didn't put any money down for this! read more
