I was grateful to be able to make a last-minute appointment on…read morea Friday evening, but when I arrive, the place was full of chaos because they had multiple other businesses operating out of their same salon. Additionally, everything felt very rushed, and they didn't do a good job. In total, I paid $160 for a kids "pedicure" with regular polish, a gel pedicure with callus removal for me, and a fill with gel and a V French. For what I paid, I expected the same quality that I typically get from my girl down the street. That is not what I got. Instead, I got rushed through the process, got my cuticles dug into by that weird drill, they use. And left with gel on my toes that chipped already? And let me be clear, I am writing this review less than 10 hours after leaving the shop. Also, they didn't even help my daughter with her shoes, putting them back on or anything. And before we even walked out, I noticed that her regular polish on her pedicure had already smudged off because they didn't allow them to properly dry and told her it was fine. Also, look at My Nail photos. The V French looks seemingly clean at first, but when you look to the side and at the tips and edges? Not thoroughly painted and sloppy. Also, some of these nails are far thicker than the others. And I truly can't understand how I feel here ended up costing more than a full set with a full blown design at another shop down the road. Again, everything felt super rushed here. They didn't offer drinks. They didn't even ask me what type of pedicure I wanted. This was one of the worst experiences I've had in this area.

My daughter and three of her friends, ages 13 to 17 years old signed up. Unfortunately, the program did not deliver on its promises. Tracy didn't provide much training at all. Instead, she spent a lot of time lecturing the kids about God and demanding respect. She seemed more interested in being praised than teaching. The girls didn't enjoy the experience. They dreaded going each day and constantly asked to stay home. I didn't understand their frustration until it was too late. One day, Tracy called to say my daughter was giving her trouble. I listened calmly and was open to hearing her concerns--until she told me she had said to my 13-year-old daughter, "You have to go, I want you gone, you need to go." I asked her to clarify exactly what she said, and instead of answering, she became combative. She accused me of condoning bad behavior and blamed me for the way my daughter allegedly acted. I let her know I didn't appreciate her tone or comments. My daughter is an honors student, very respectful, and not the type of child to cause problems. Tracy began yelling, so I told her I wasn't going to argue. I said I'd come get my daughter. She responded by saying, "Yeah, come get her. I don't want her here," and hung up the phone. My daughter texted me in tears. Tracy had told her to pack up and sit out front, completely humiliating her. When I arrived, I greeted the nail techs working on clients. Tracy stood in the classroom doorway, staring. I asked to speak with her, and she snapped that she only had a minute because she was teaching. The moment I pointed out her inappropriate behavior, she told me to leave. Tracy has no business working with kids. She lacks patience, professionalism, and any sense of emotional intelligence. According to the girls, she constantly made rude comments, dismissed their questions, and created an uncomfortable learning environment. My daughter simply asked why she was singled out for wearing headphones when others had theirs on too, and Tracy told her, "I'm not getting called out by a child." This entire experience was upsetting and disappointing. Tracy should not advertise a program for youth if she cannot treat them with basic respect and maturity. I would not recommend this camp to anyone. Just so we are clear she caught me on a good day. You cannot play with peoples children and expect them to let it ride. To avoid this type of ignorance I hope others take heed. She is not kid friendly. She really tried to test my patience. Although we all paid a registration fee she made it a point to tell the kids they needed to be appreciative of this experience all while belittling and berating them. Unfortunately this was a lesson I had to learn the hard way.

After pointing out some things, my gel finger nails turned out better than expected. I saw them take tools out of the sterilizer and there was a liner in the foot spa. I called and made an appointment at 11am for 2. They told me that's when they opened. When we arrived at 11, there were already 2 other customers being worked on. There was only 1 technician available despite our appointments so they started on me before my friend. The hot rocks they used were so hot that my friend's legs were burned and the technician even showed that her hands were burned too (before she even put them on us!) It wasn't until later that I noticed my toes were done unevenly and not smoothly (see picture). The pedicure was $30. While my technician took time on my nails, I still had to point out where it was sheer or where the gel was sharp before she fixed it. It was $35 for gel polish. In the end the gel turned out nice. However, the worst part was after the service. The male technician was free at this point and decided to contact his cell phone service on speaker phone. We listened to the entire interaction. We also realized there was no music playing and they seated us so far apart that we couldn't talk much. Overall, I guess we got what we paid for?
