We repeated our request for ginger, but the answer was exactly the same. When the roll finally arrived, it looked like someone might have started eating it yesterday and they simply decided to give it another chance today. It wasn't really sliced so much as it was spread across the plate. On the very edge of the plate there was a tiny bit of ginger and a tiny bit of wasabi. Both looked like they might have been borrowed from someone else's plate. When I looked at the waitress questioningly, she explained that if we wanted more wasabi and ginger, we could pay extra and they would bring more.
