When I picked her up her eyes were raw, I presume from their cleaning techniques and she wouldn't open one of her eyes. By the next day her eye was so bad I had to take her to the vet and they diagnosed her with a scratched cornea. While that may not sound that serious of an issue, it's over a month later and her eye still has a depression where she was hurt. I called Lauren about it and she said that nothing unusual happened during the grooming appointment. I found that hard to believe and if that was the case, no dog is safe in her care. The questionnaire made me confident and proved they wanted to learn about the dogs in advance. Once our puppy was old enough to join, I reached out to Lisa because I was concerned that Moxie was scared when meeting new dogs, especially puppies, and due to her being too young + covid, she had not met as many. I was probably more worried than necessary, but Lisa NEVER made me feel that way. She spent lots of time talking with me about a plan to make sure Moxie and I were comfortable. She had us come in the evening after most dogs had left, and she knew that the dogs that would be there were good dogs for Moxie to meet. It went very well and Lisa assured me that Moxie's behavior was normal for a puppy and nothing to cause concern. Lisa suggested a specific day for Moxie to start coming based on personality matches with the other dogs. Now Moxie goes at least once a week and sometimes three. Moxie gets very excited and I can barely stop her from jumping out of the car to get in. She has boundless energy and Dawg On It helps with that, but above all, we know Moxie is safe and happy, while we can get some work done at home! He greets them with a big hug every drop off!   I called and left a voice mail and received a call back less than  24 hours later!! Super easy!  My dog got an interview right away and he fit right in. He's a little meek and frightens a lil easy but had he no problems because the dogs are well behaved at Doggie Castle. Since then, I refused to trust anyone local and spent years driving my dogs all the way into NYC just to get them groomed. While our city groomer was great, making that trip from Danbury was exhausting and expensive. ​I was nervous to switch, but I decided to give Corey & Grace at Wags Doggie Daycamp a try, and they completely exceeded my expectations. They were exceptionally gentle with my newest rescue, who has serious PTSD, and took extra care with my special needs pup by using a supportive harness so she didn't have to strain or stand on her hind legs unsupported. ​Seeing how patient, safe, and stress-free all three of my girls were was such a relief. My babies look gorgeous, but most importantly, they were treated with so much love and respect. Thank you so much, Corey & Grace--you've officially earned yourself a customer for life!

Daisy follows me everywhere when I'm home, so it gives me so much peace of mind knowing she is in a caring and loving environment. I especially love that it is cage free. The dogs are always with someone taking care of them and getting attention. And for a dog mummy like me, being able to check on her through the cameras during the day makes all the difference! I also really appreciate that after her stay I receive a report with updates on how she ate, behaved, and slept. It shows how attentive and caring the staff truly are. Every time I leave Daisy at Wags, I can truly feel how much care and love she receives. I'm so grateful to have found a place I trust completely.

At one point, there was a Dogtopia that opened up 5 min. from where I work, and I made the mistake of switching daycares because it was much closer. Ended up bringing my pup back here after she was injured at that Dogtopia and I never heard back from the owner. I will never make that mistake again. Wag is so much better in terms of communication and how responsive they are to anything I bring up. Plus their staff is amazing with my pup, every time we come in they know her and are so excited to see her and vice versa. She practically forgets about me when they lead her in. Lol. And she always leaves exhausted after a day here because they have so many activities and cute little crafts they do with the pups depending on which day of the week you go. Also the indoor pool. I also boarded her here for about a week during a vacation last year and felt so at ease knowing she was safe and in such good hands. I received updates constantly. That's another thing too, the text communication makes things so quick and easy, especially for appointments. Plus they keep on top of vaccinations and fecals, which is so important. They knew our dog by name after the first few weeks and have treated her like she was their own every since. Our dog is always excited to go in for daycare and is always brought back with a staff member that is equally excited to see her. They have even gone the extra mile during two different stays while boarding. Our dog has a lot of anxiety and during her second extended stay, she had an accident. They cleaned her and one of the staff members took her blanket home to wash and brought it back clean for her. The second was after a mistake I made - miscalculated my dogs food by one day. One of the staff members cooked her chicken and rice for her on her last day. We will continue to send our dog to Uberdog for daycare and boarding without hesitation!
