When I picked her up her eyes were raw, I presume from their cleaning techniques and she wouldn't open one of her eyes. By the next day her eye was so bad I had to take her to the vet and they diagnosed her with a scratched cornea. While that may not sound that serious of an issue, it's over a month later and her eye still has a depression where she was hurt. The questionnaire made me confident and proved they wanted to learn about the dogs in advance. Once our puppy was old enough to join, I reached out to Lisa because I was concerned that Moxie was scared when meeting new dogs, especially puppies, and due to her being too young + covid, she had not met as many. I was probably more worried than necessary, but Lisa NEVER made me feel that way. She spent lots of time talking with me about a plan to make sure Moxie and I were comfortable. She had us come in the evening after most dogs had left, and she knew that the dogs that would be there were good dogs for Moxie to meet. It went very well and Lisa assured me that Moxie's behavior was normal for a puppy and nothing to cause concern. Lisa suggested a specific day for Moxie to start coming based on personality matches with the other dogs. Now Moxie goes at least once a week and sometimes three. Moxie gets very excited and I can barely stop her from jumping out of the car to get in. She has boundless energy and Dawg On It helps with that, but above all, we know Moxie is safe and happy, while we can get some work done at home! We have had bad experiences with boarding in the past, our dog just doesn't like being caged all…read moreday and gets very upset. We had found a local pet sitter, but on one trip she was not available the full time and we had to find another solution. An exhaustive search of area boarding facilities led us to the Dog Cabin. Yes, the dogs are in cages at night, but they are out for the majority of the day, playing in daycare. They provide beds and blankets for each dog and overall it seemed like the best boarding environment for our pup. He loved his overnight stay at Dog Cabin so much, that we now bring him back regularly for daycare. Their hours are great - 6:30 am - 6:30 pm, which is really great for working families. They also do grooming, which we have used on occasion, but the best part is, you can get a nail trim for $10 while at daycare. We love that as it saves us the separate trip to Petco that we had to do with our other daycare. They also have cameras in daycare, so you can peek in and see how things are going. The prices are great and they often run daycare package specials. They've stayed open during the pandemic (their normal hours), which has been immensely helpful for us to maintain some routine for our dog while we are working at home. Everyone is so nice, it's obvious they care about the dogs. And everything is so clean. Take your dog to the Dog Cabin, you won't be disappointed!!

Daisy follows me everywhere when I'm home, so it gives me so much peace of mind knowing she is in a caring and loving environment. I especially love that it is cage free. The dogs are always with someone taking care of them and getting attention. And for a dog mummy like me, being able to check on her through the cameras during the day makes all the difference!
