I'll be honest, I partially judged a book by it's cover and told myself that this place wouldn't be too good because walking up to it, it just had a bog standard black sign that read 'Love Koffee' and it didn't set off any alarm bells that this place cared about their craft.
Regardless of my prior misconceptions - Brad S and myself needed a caffeine boost to push us on to more shops, so we went inside.
Wow - a complete change, no longer is this place looking bog standard and basic, the inside looks so cosy and welcoming and the signage and style of the whole place is great - it would be a great fit in Manchester city centre which is saying a lot these days! There were a few sofas, some comfy arm chairs and then your more regular tables and chairs - all of which looks clean tidy and comfortable.
So from entering and expecting a bog standard coffee I left really liking the place and enjoying a very nice flat white. I didn't stop to ask where they got their coffee from but it tasted great and a bit better than your average stock coffee. One final thing to note is the cakes - my oh my - the cakes, they looked incredible! I couldn't bring myself to having one as the Cadbury's Outlet was on the list to visit, but next time I will! read more
