Went here for Valentines morning to get my mom some cupcakes, which she loved so much that she ate them all for breakfast. I just wish they didn't run out of croissant donuts. read more

Love Bug's Bakery - Donuts Near Me - Melbourne, Florida

The service was very good at the Love Bug's Donuts and Bakery. The donuts were fresh tasting and their was plenty to choose from. The Boston Cream was a huge hit along with the cronut. The fritter is very popular but it fell flat for me. I enjoyed the crispy outside but It was very dry in the center. The plain chocolate and vanilla donuts were exceptional. The only 100 percent miss here was the peanut butter cookies. The tasted like they were a few days old and took on the smell of the display cabinet. read more

Fresh doughnuts like these are a lost art. We can in at closing and there only a few cupcakes and pastries left along with some warm fresh out of the oven cheese danish pastries. Oh. My. Goodness. They were so delicious. Perfectly baked. The dough had just the right amount of yeasty sweet goodness and the filling tasted of cheese, not just sugar. Totally worth getting up early to get here when they open at 5 for the best selection. Honestly, sleep is overrated compared to this fresh sweet deliciousness. read more

Drove 15 minutes on Sunday am to get a doughnut and they were out by 10:15, got an apple fritter that Ryan deemed to complicated to warm up and a croissant that took 10 minutes to warm up, which meant it was sliced in 4 pieces and appears to be stepped on. Service was lame, no priority given to the 19 people standing around waiting. Won't be back. read more

Love this place! Cutest little store. Smelled so yummy walking in. The staff was very friendly and helpful for me choosing some of their top sellers for me to take to a house full of kids. So many fun donut flavors, cronut, apple fritter, somoa, signature love bug donut, so many to pick from, yummm! The muffins choices too, pistachio, double chocolate, blueberry, cranberry, apple...they all were so moist! We will definitely return! read more

While at Satellite Beach, we had a birthday celebration. The celebrant (my daughter) "needed" a unicorn cake. Love Bug's came through with not only a great cake, but also a great tasting, moist cake. And... I had to try a donut or two (or three) when I picked up the single horned cake - very delicious. I liked the atmosphere of Love Bug's, the staff was friendly and it had a local vibe to it! read more

LOVE this bakery!! They have the most amazing donuts and my son didn't want a birthday cake this past year so we got him a 10 inch chocolate iced donut! It was amazing and made that morning!! Love Bug's Bakery - HUGE BIRTHDAY DONUT! - Donuts Near Me - Melbourne, Florida

On September 14, 2023 I went to Love Bugs Bakery for the first time. I bought 1/2 dozen of glazed, sugar, cream filled doughnuts. Went home to discover what seemed like day old dried up doughnuts. (TERRIBLE) They were the worse doughnuts I have ever tasted. The 2) bagels were ever worse if that is even possible. I not only wasted my money along with my gas which was a good drive from the South end of Palm Bay. Had to stand in line for at lease 15 minutes since the counter was manned by only 1 young lady. At that point I should have walked out rather than waste my money. WON'T BE BACK, which is sad since it is a small business which I usually try to support. read more

Not only are these the best donuts in Brevard County but I have out of state friends that request we bring them to them and declared them 'best donuts they've ever had'. So many options of decadent donuts. They run out quickly so go early or order ahead online. read more

We gave this place a try because it was recommend to us. Unfortunately, The donuts we ordered were super dry. We will be back just because it's a local business and there are more than just donuts to be tried here. So, hopefully we have a better experience next time! read more

Best donuts in Melbourne hands down. I'm from Melbourne originally and didn't know this place existed! I will be back when I visit my hometown! read more

I like donuts! I like cup cakes! I like bagels! I like Cookies! So, I like this place. By far the best donuts iv found in town. Lots of unique flavors to choose from. Huge bagles! Huge cookies, cupcakes & muffins. Staff got them up quick. Sadly, the donuts feel like they could be a day or so old. You don't get hit with the fresh donut smell when you walk in. They run out of flavors regularly. But honestly it's the best we have in Melbourne. Unless you know somewhere else, I will accept that challenge. Keep in mind the price is actually not that bad compared to other big box shops and specialty shops. read more

Wow!!! Such a great little place. We were in awe of the size of their donuts as well as their cupcakes. Their breakfast sandwiches are awesome and the coffee is so good. They even have a little "flavor bar" with a ton of assorted flavored syrups to add to your coffee. My boyfriend actually said, "I would live here." He would, too. He ate a donut the size of a baby's head with so much happiness!!! read more

What a cute bakery in Melbourne! I stopped in a little later (around 1:30 pm) so as per most bakeries the selection was more scarce. Nonetheless the donuts were delicious and service was great. A lot of trendy places in Orlando where I live, just don't match up to the dough they use here. The prices are also fair! I was thoroughly impressed and I'll definitely be back. read more

Love bugs is GREAT. The food is delicious, and service is friendly. Wish they didn't close down Viera location, and hope they reconsider opening. We love the bacon egg & cheese breakfast sandwich on an Italian bagel. The bagels are fresh & tasty, bacon is real, so the product is worth the drive. However, they do have a limited amount of product so if you love the Italian bagels or another flavor as much as we do, then you will need to get there early. Also, even though they close at 1:00pm, they tend to start putting stock away and cleaning up the kitchen well before then. So if you arrive at 12:30, it's hit or miss on getting something made for lunch. We will drive 20 mins to Love Bugs in Melbourne for breakfast on the go, cause the food is worth it. Well worth it. read more

Great service, pastries and bagels! We didn't try the donuts, but they looked mouth watering. The staff behind the counter was super friendly and made us feel like family from the moment we walked in. We will definitely be back to try some of those donuts! read more

Ordered online at 7:00 am for a pick up at 10:30 and when I got there they were out of 4 of the 6 donuts I ordered. I didn't get a call from them until 10 minutes before I arrived that this was the case. I think they must have waited until 10:15 to fill my order instead of doing it before the Saturday morning rush otherwise they didn't make four types of their usual donuts including chocolate glazed on a Saturday. read more

Slow service, terrible bagel, can't really call it a bagel it was a piece of no flavored bread and so cheap on butter and cream cheese, sugared donuts just nothing but old dough taste, and top it off slow service, they need to take lessons from a NY/NJ bagel/ donut shop, never again read more

It was awful. They were out of donuts, they were out of bagels, coffee was disgusting. Took one bite and left. No wonder you move so many times. Grossssss read more

I went in after finding them here (yelp) and was immediately greeted by several friendly faces, one very enthusiastic young man who was joking as soon as I walked in and asking how many dozen I'd like to get today. That is exactly how you want to be greeted! The energy and enthusiasm that came from him and the crew was amazing, and perfect for National Donut Day. I selected only two, and had to remind the gent at checkout about the free donut they had advertised on their social media site, but overall the trip here was great. I will definitely be back the next time I'm out visiting my family. By the way, I went and got a glazed donut and did a comparison tasting with my mother - comparing it to a Krispy Kreme glazed. I really enjoyed yours better! Much more hearty and leaving me more satisfied, which usually means you are using better quality ingredients. Thank you! read more

Great selection, always fresh , easy to get in and out , and they have really friendly employees

I've only had the doughnuts but have exactly 0 complaints. The ladybug doughnut and the key lime were outstanding! They do sell out though, so call ahead! read more

How does this sound an oversize everything bagel with crisp bacon and a fried egg with a runny yolk, a tall cup of fresh coffee (double double), and comically over the top donuts in the spirit of the Roman bakery. Plus they're open really early. This little gem is worth visiting if you're in the West Melbourne/Melbourne Village area. I usually don't like posting reviews unless I have a photo or two to go with it, but I'm sure the Yelp community will chip in with pictures. I thought the food tasted homemade, the kind your mom would make for you. My only gripe is that I found it to be a little pricey, but the reality is you are paying for quality. It's best to purchase the special, sandwich and coffee. There is adequate seating, but you will find most people order their food to go, and you can place and pay for your orders in advance, insuring your morning routine is not interrupted by long lines and traffic. read more

They're always out of product not worth a trip. If you can get there by 5 AM, you might have a chance of getting something.

LOVE this bakery! So many unique flavors and variety of items to choose from. Very affordable! Snag a Groupon deal and you're set! The only downside is having to narrow down what to purchase! Purchased a Groupon for $9 for $15 worth of baked goods, w/an addtl discount off it was only $7.20. 2 Double chocolate muffins 1 Lemon Poppyseed muffin 1 Apple Cinnamon muffin 1 Cranberry Orange muffin 1 Coffee & ? muffin 2 Onion bagels (my fav bagel on the !) 1 Jalapeño & cheddar bagel 2 Perfect croissants 1 Amish everything bread thingy 1 Peanut butter & jelly donut later..... = Yeap, a bakers dozen! Total after my Groupon was $5.** The upside with the baked goods is that you can easily freeze them. Their croissants are absolutely perfect! Everything is so fresh & soft, absolutely delicious! read more

We come from Winter Garden, but visit Disney's Vero Beach Resort often. This popped up on my Groupon and since it is right on the way, I decided to try it out. In a word... Amazing! Breakdown of the donuts we tried: Turtle - 9/10 - Tons of walnuts, chocolate, and caramel. Seriously, there is a ton of nuts on this thing! Strawberry Shortcake - 6/10 - I've never seen an option like this. This was good, but would be better with a some type of custard inside, instead of whipped cream. Bananas Foster - 8/10 - This was an amazing choice! It could use a bit more topping, but that's the only change I would make. Apple Fritter - 8/10 - A great apple fritter. Not the best I've ever had, but very good. Cronut - 7/10 - This was very good, but could have used a bit more glaze. I liked the shape of the donut, which set it apart. It was lighter than most cronuts I've eaten. It really could just use more glaze. Cinnamon Roll - 6/10 - This was really the only letdown. The tiny bit of glaze and the tiny "blop" of cream cheese icing really wasn't enough to make it good. It was a bit dry and because it was lacking icing, it couldn't come back from it. Boston Creme - 9/10 - It was delicious. Almost the best I've ever had. I really have no improvements that can be made. It had a ton of Bavarian Creme and it was delicious. Peanut Butter & Jelly - 10/10 - For me, this was the perfect donut. If you like peanut butter and jelly, you'll love this donut. It has a peanut butter icing, drizzled with the jelly. Then it was jelly-filled. It was scrumptious. It was my favorite. I'd highly recommend Love Bug's and I can't wait for our next trip to Vero so I can try their other varieties. If you are in the area and love donuts, stop in and get at least a dozen!!! read more

Do not go here on a diet!!! I'm not a donor person but I will eat donuts from here. What a great selection too I got a half dozen and after I left I was kicking myself asi munched on a churro donut that was THE BEST. That I should have gotten scones too. It's a cute shop and the service is quick counter. I will definitely be back. If you have the same donut in different sizes I would give out the nice big ones first on display, and that's not even a gripe cause they were all amazing...lol just wanted the big one!!! read more

I've had stale scones there on 2 separate occasions, they sell old pastry. Their basic vanilla donut tastes like cardboard, even my 9-year-old wouldn't eat it. They seem to overcompensate for poor product with over-sweet fillings and toppings to create their specialty donuts; which then become sloppy messes. The apple-filled donut was ok in a Hostess Fruit Pie sort of way: memorably pleasantly artificial. They quoted me $50 (maybe it was $60) for a 9 inch birthday cake. No. Maybe Love Bugs was good once? Maybe they've gotten lazy? If you want a solid donut go the Donut Shop in Merritt Island. Not impressive on the outside but great, solid donuts. Plain to filled. read more

Great food, great employees, and all around great atmosphere! My husband and I like to study here from time to time, but really I just like to look at the donuts lol. Unless you go early and love flavor shots, don't go because nothing left at 10:30. 6 donuts. The cream donut was sugar and butter and not great.
