Very nice selection of donuts. One of the only places I found that had Boston Cream filled donuts which are my favorite. Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Crème don't have them. Staff is friendly. On national donut day I stopped in to get donuts for my coworkers. I quizzed the owner if he knew it was national donut day, he knew. I then asked him if he knew how it started, he knew that too. The donuts are fresh and tasty. I love this place. They snuck some donuts with sprinkles on them in my box once after I pointed to donuts without sprinkles. Wow, this place is excellent! I was down in FL for work and avoid chain restaurants at all costs. This leaves me to using yelp to help determine where to go...yet again, Yelp did not steer me wrong. I stopped by Love Bug's and tried both their Asiago bagel and maple bacon bar (as recommended by others on Yelp!). Both were fantastic! The bagel was super fresh and the maple bacon bar was addictively good! If I wasn't so stuffed, I would have tried more, as everything looked excellent! I really don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu here. We got donuts at 7:00AM and they had many different types. We needed up choosing some cronuts that were pretty good however after the cronut we should have stopped. Many of the donuts like the maple and bacon, lemon filled donut, vanilla glazed and the coconut filled were so dense they tasted like dinner rolls covered in sugar. The flavor for the maple and bacon was lacking. The lemon filled had lots of filling but it had also fell to the bottom and made it soggy. The vanilla glaze fell off of the donut in chunks and was way to sweet. The coconut donut didn't taste all that much like coconut. The apple fritter donut was also dense, not crispy and didn't have apple. The churro donut fell apart easily and didn't taste much like a churro at all. The key lime was probably the worst because it was also dinner roll texture and the lime they added was definitely not key lime, but instead a much more sour taste. The pricing is also sneaky and fairly expensive. All in all I do not recommend this place unless you are looking for a cronut. read more

They have donuts, cookies, muffins, cupcakes and other goodies at pretty reasonable prices. They had basic varieties of cupcakes - chocolate, carrot, vanilla, etc. I tried a chocolate cupcake and a sample of a blueberry muffin. The sample was pretty good. However, while the cupcake didn't taste bad by any means, the flavor and texture reminded me way too much of a donut - it was pretty dense. She bought me the red velvet (absolutely to die for with the cream cheese and chocolate frostings on it), the carrot cake (typical good carrot cake, needed a bit more frosting IMO), the German chocolate (which was very fudgy and the texture of the topping was wonderful), and the coconut (fabulous and so refreshing). The cronut was an ok start to a dismal donut finish. We sampled over a dozen types of their donuts, and 18 donuts and $33 later were just left bummed. The cronut, a favorite of mine, could have been good but was left in the fryer too long so that the delicate laminated layers soaked up too much of the fryer grease making the cronut gooey instead of flaky. The flavor was good and this one could be ok with a little less time in the fryer. The filled donuts, like the lemon and coconut cream were far too dense and flavorless and more closely resembled stuffed dinner rolls. This is more than likely do too under-proving the dough. This would account for the complaints others have made about the lack of flavor or "staleness" of the doughnuts at times, as well as contributing to their chewiness as opposed to them being light and fluffy. The cake doughnuts were crumbly and need more moisture. The icing needed to be thinned out (with milk) so that it would stick to the donut and not just fall of when bitten into. The key lime filling was bitter not sour, making me wonder if regular lime juice was used instead of key lime. Aerosol whipping cream atop a bakery donut...just say no. When a maple bacon donut is made, really good bacon is key. You don't just put regular bacon out on a maple frosted donut (that also tasted like a frosted dinner roll). The apple fritter was like a cinnamon roll someone picked the apples out of, then stepped on, then fried. It was dense, with too much cinnamon, no apple flavor or apples present, and tasted like fryer oil. So, the concepts of the donuts are fun, and if you find someone who can purchase correct ingredients, make a proper icing, fry correctly, and most importantly learn to properly prove a sweet roll dough then you can have more stars. read more

Its about twice as far as the dunking donuts but since we found this, we make the extra drive now. Their maple bacon donut is an absolute must try. We haven't tried anything but donuts yet. Really great breakfast sandwiches and donuts from a mom and pop style locally owned place. That said, we live a few blocks down the road and give this place a lot of business, but we have been disappointed many times unfortunately. It's always something, the grill isn't working so they can't make breakfast sandwiches, they are out of bagels, they are out of donuts, or they are out of everything altogether. Very annoying. If you are open until 2pm, make enough food to last until 2pm. It doesn't matter if the business is a bakery and they have to make food in advance, if you have continuous customers coming in until noon on the weekend, you better have enough food to last until noon. Step up your game or dunkin donuts will be getting our business. read more

I just got a birthday cake for my 2 year old daughter made there. It was a Yo Gabba Gabba themed cake. I am very disappointed. The picture is so blurry you can barely make out the characters. The "Happy 2nd Birthday" was written on with pale pink frosting that is not even visible.
