We loved it. The local bike store guy recommended it and we are glad he did. Small plate sharing. Many vegetable options are present but there are meat options. I loved the summer beans. Radishes with butter and salt was good. Melon and prosciutto was popular. Bread ands butter serving is ordered as a plate. Service was excellent. A great new addition to the Stratford restaurant scene. Good cocktails too.

Brch & Wyn is a Stratford, well Ontario for that matter, gem! I LOVE this cozy place. The stone and…read morewood beams give it a fairytale-esque ambiance. The size is perfect for any event, both intimate and spacious. There is a good mix of smaller tables and larger ones that accommodate parties of any size. There is even a cute area in the back with living-space styled seating that offers a very homey feel. The restaurant is so clean, you literally feel like you could eat off the floor. I first visited to attend a Drag Brunch for Crystal Quartz. I've since returned for more of the same, plus a very special Valentine's Day Event that included a five-course dinner and belly-dance show. One of the things that makes this place so wonderful is the inclusion and safe space for both patrons and performers. The owner is so kind and just a wonderful human being. He will welcome you and make you feel like family, along with the rest of his amazing staff. I've never had better service or more wonderful gluten-free food! Unlike other restaurants, there is always something I can eat and it's not just a steak or salad. In fact. the five-course dinner had something for those who cannot eat gluten at every course and it felt like something special, something you can't just get anywhere. There are so many places I go and get cocktails and they either baby down the size, scrimp on the alcohol and overfill the ice. The do not do that here. The cocktails are well worth the price. Excellent mimosas at brunch too! My favourite item for brunch is the GF bfast sandwich. Absolutely delicious! You also get a choice of tots or salad, so if you're feeling more on the healthy side or hungover side, you're covered, lol. I felt like royalty at the 5-course dinner; the food was so elevated and very much fit with the Mediterranean theme of the belly dance event. The first course was bread, olives and pickled (I believe it was onion, could have been beet) and they had two different GF breads for me! Also came with walnut spread and tzatziki sauce, sooooo good! There was a brown butter carrot soup I couldn't get enough of and fried hallumi cheese with pomegranate and honey dukkah, so indulgent. The main was beef kofta on an aromatic salad, absolutely delicious! Dessert for me was ice cream with fresh fruit and choco sauce. The entire dinner was just beautiful. And they had a special love potion drink they were making with gin, but my wonderful server did tequila for me on request. The table was gorgeous with a little candle. I felt very pampered, as I always do at this spot. The price was right too, especially on Valentine's Day and for 5 courses. The belly dance event was so wonderful too! There was a male dancer who works with Crystal Q and he handed out roses during his dance. As a 50-something woman who hasn't gotten flowers in over a decade, it was a touch that made even me tear up a little. All three dancers were so talented, and the show was breathtaking. But all the events at this wonderful venue are always something special. If you see an event booked here on Insta, get your tickets! The performers won't disappoint, the staff is second to none, and the food is an experience. I can't wait to visit again and cannot recommend Brch & Wyn enough!

Great place and excellent coffee!…read more They have gluten free items as well. The entrance is from the side and it's on the lower level of the condo building. Water station! Great place that has sandwiches and desserts. Service was fast and the look is nice with the stone walls.

Came here for Londonlicious with a dear friend of mine! I…read moreordered the ceviche, smoked salmon trio, and the cheese and fruit board. We were dearly craving the roasted apple featured on their online menu before, but it turns out that the apple has been replaced with the homemade mulled wine and biscotti! Meanwhile, she ordered the Londonlicious autumn salad, the vegetarian toasts, and the creme brulee. While the food wasn't drop-dead amazing, the service was great! I had attempted to get a reservation the day before, but was told that they were fully booked. When we arrived, they had originally wanted to seat us down at the bar, but after considering it, they offered a table for two that we would have to return in an hour. That being said, we never felt rushed in our meal - they never hinted at us to leave, even when the other couple who had made the reservation arrived Instead, they sat that pair down at the couches, and asked us politely if it would be okay to give us the bill now. They were very friendly and considerate (and thus, the extra star)! Our appetizers came first, and we were quite surprised at the small portion sizes. My ceviche was tiny! The cracker/chip was well-done (very crispy and tasty), but there was very little tuna - just very little to eat in general. My friend thoroughly enjoyed her brie at first, but then found it overly heavy after a while. This was a recurring theme, as it turns out all their vegetarian options have brie (she's vegetarian). Our entrees came next, and again, I was quite shocked at the smaller portion size. That being said, I found it adequately filling, and I was actually fairly satisfied by the end of the main meal! The smoked salmon was delicious! My absolute favourite was the pickled onion one... the slight sourness balanced out the saltiness of the salmon perfectly. The raspberry compote was good, but a little too sweet. I was excited to eat the caviar one, but found that they added too much of the herb garlic aioli. I believe there was some dill and/or cream cheese in it, which drowned out any flavour of the caviar/salmon completely! This was my least favourite, because it was quite heavy. My friend's vegetarian toasts came in three pairs (totalling six). I tried her grilled peach and candied pecan one. Although I enjoyed it, I wasn't a fan of the cheese spread. I think it would have been tastier without it! She was unable to finish the pear and brie ones, mainly because by that time she was quite full/sick with the heavy brie (it came with her appetizer as well). The desserts came last. By this point, I regretted ordering the cheese and fruit board, because I wanted something light to finish the wine. Thinking back, the homemade mulled wine would have been a delightful choice. Anyway, I polished the fruit and left the cheese to take away. My friend ordered the creme brulee - and it was HEAVENLY. It was so utterly creamy and sweet inside. Perfectly executed, with the right brulee on top! Although it was slightly pricey (such is the student life), I did enjoy the experience. Don't know if I'd come again, but it is a lovely date spot and a place to chill with friends!

The server was very friendly and the portions were good. You're definitely paying a premium for the environment, not the food. Caesar was slightly too bland and could've used more salt / hot sauce / Worcestershire. Steaks and appetizers were good. Bread was great.

The appetizers included a nicely crusted and very hot French onion soup, and creamy and rich lobster bisque, and a side salad with Italian vinaigrette. The two soups were particularly nicely flavored; the mixed green salad was solid though some of the leaves were slightly darkened and/or lacked freshness. The mains were excellent; the trademark steak (NY strip and filet) were nice and juicy, with a decent texture for their respective cuts. Also appreciated that the cuts weren't overseasoned (though perhaps I would have preferred more pepper). The vegetarian shepherd's pie was oversalted, and in general the potato top was mostly untextured. The dish itself seemed a bit paltry as well. It came with a salad accompaniment, which was odd, since the salad was being cooked as it was placed next to the cast iron dish containing the shepherd's pie. Also worth commenting on was the plating; the NY strip came with a garnish medley of green beans and carrots; both were cooked to perfection, however, they were presented in a haphazard manner. The mushroom medley accompaniment tasted decent, but they were unevenly cut and came in different sizes. The cauliflower mash was decent; however, there could have been more of it. It was also presented in a rather dull manner. I also think that some coloration of garnish could have helped the presentation; how about parsley or cilantro on top of the cauliflower? A bit of spice as well? The plates themselves were rather dull as well; usually a plain white plate. They could use a trim, or coloration. These details might be passed over or ignored in a lesser establishment, but given the reputation of The Keg, it would be worth making small modifications which would elevate the experience commensurate with the pricing of the menu items.
