I'm of the firm opinion that the average rating for this place is the right rating. Very confused…read moreby the 4 and 5 star reviews and somewhat understanding of the 2 star ones. It is by far not the best mongolian grill I've been to -- but I mean, there aren't that many of these things around, are there? Let's take this chronologically. I was excited to discover that this place existed as we were driving north on 25 to Denver and happened to be passing Pueblo around lunchtime. The fact that it's super accessible from the highway made it ideal. When we walked in, I almost walked out. The entire restaurant smelled like bathroom. Literally like I had walked into a bathroom. I have to assume that this is unusual. I was surprised people were actively eating. We wandered over to the food/ingredients line to see if our noses would adapt and to check out the situation. The food looked good. All the vegetables looked fresh, didn't see any wilting. The freeze-dried rolls of meat were still appropriately freeze dried and not melting into a pile of meat goo like at some places. Ok. Food - check. We got a table and came back to the food line. This place charges by size-of-bowl (I've seen some charge by weight or be AYCE) and you can tell the regulars because they KNOW how to fill a bowl. If your bowl is not overflowing to the point of nearly toppling over, you will not get back a full bowl of cooked food. I was only middling hungry so my mid-sized bowl merely heaped. I especially liked the sauce bar. Quite an extensive selection of sauces, with all the usual things plus some extras. I can imagine as a regular you could have a really good time exploring different combinations. Alas, not for me as it's unlikely we'll find our way out here again anytime soon. The food was good. The service was good. If the eating-in-a-bathroom thing weren't so distracting, I'd be saying four stars.

The food is pretty decent, if you know what you're doing. Some foods are fully frozen and are sometimes in ice water as well as the sauces. The food is WAYYYY OVERPRICED for food that is sometimes fresh. The chef usually always seems to step outside for a cigarette after cooking a few bowls and rarely speaks or smiles. The waitress is honestly the only sweet and approachable person there. The place is pretty run down, most of the booths are broken, there are sticky tables and the place does really smell like a bathroom. The bathrooms are pretty disgusting. It makes sense why if you come around noon during lunch it is pretty empty, but hey no wait time! Overall, the flavors are pretty good, these owners just need to work on CUSTOMER SERVICE and with those overpriced meals get some new tables and chairs and hopefully a better attitude.

Enjoyed a quick bite here. We ate early so we had the place to ourselves when we arrived (people…read morewere starting to trickle in as we left.) Big menu... sushi, teriyaki, noodle bowls, salads, etc etc We had tom kha gai (coconut soup with chicken), salmon teriyaki and red curry. Soup had good flavor, lots of chicken & plenty of veggies. Salmon was tasty with carrots, cabbage & broccoli. Red curry was VERY GOOD! The star of the show tonight. We drained every drop! Seasoned well for us...a touch of heat and very flavorful. Sadly, no room for dessert... I was eying the Sticky Rice. ;) The table next to us ordered lots of sushi as we were leaving & had obviously been here before. :) Would definitely eat here again!

We didn't get a very peaceful dinner due to the souped-up motors, but it was mostly enjoyable. My significant other and I agree that the sushi place down the street is just a little bit better, but not by much. This place used to exist across the street and further down the road. I verified that with our friendly and efficient host/waiter. Here was our supper of the things I actually tried: Spring rolls ($5.95) - they were okay. My daughter who ordered them wasn't a fan. Crab rangoon - good ($5.95) Egg rolls - really good ($5.95) Mince pork noodle soup - it tasted decent, but I can see why my daughter preferred her pork not minced ($10.95) Top Model roll - very tasty ($15.95) Thai iced tea - way too sweet for me. I didn't even have boba ($3.95). Taro boba tea - not too sweet. The boba was nice & chewy ($5.50). I'd go here again if a friend chose the spot. I'd stick to sushi. No rice noodles for me!

I hate to give poor ratings to a place with good food but I was seriously disappointed with the…read moreservice here. We came here on a Friday afternoon with an hour and 15 mins to spare before we had to pick up our train ride tickets. We figured we wanted to try sushi and how long would that take? Surprise surprise! When we entered, there wasn't a single person dining in. We took around 5-8 mins to decide what we wanted and by the time we went back to order at the main desk, there was one person ordering to dine in. Another person came in for their pick up just after we'd finished ordering. We ordered fountain drinks, the eel, octopus and squid nigiri, Las Vegas roll and denver roll. Half an hour later, nothing has shown up at our table. At least 3 other people have shown up for their pick up orders and have not received them. Finally at 40 mins post our order placement, I went up to ask how long it would take, and I was told that the chef was just starting up on our order!! We ended up taking our order to go and only because I'd already paid for it. I would've appreciated a heads up regarding the wait time. You can't just expect us to sit there waiting for food. We would've gone elsewhere and enjoyed a nice dine in experience. So I have to call this poor service. Regarding the food, they gave us a bowl of complimentary hot and sour soup which was good. The sushi was good as per my brother who ate it all. The Las Vegas roll was excellent and should on anyone's order list. The denver roll was just ok. As you can see from the pictures, the takeout was obviously not as enjoyable as the dine in would've been, because the rolls got squished together. The food is good, but ask up front if they're lagging behind in orders so you're aware of how long you'll be.

Love popping in for a roll or two. Great atmosphere and the staff are always friendlyread more
