What really sets Byron apart from other salons I've tried is the attention to detail. It's clear that Ronnie the manager has incredibly high standards and it feels as though there's a real collective effort from all the staff (senior stylists to trainees) to exceed those standards. The service is second to none, the salon is impeccably clean, and while it's certainly pricier than other salons, the whole experience really makes you feel like you're getting value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Byron - just make sure you book in advance as it fills up quick!

She fitted us all in on the morning of the wedding about 10 in total and had us all looking gorgeous by 1.30pm. Most were wash and blow drys but she put my daughers hair up in a really funky style and it was amazing. It stayed up all day and in fact even until the next morning. I suppose this had something to do with the dozens of clips in it! Would recommend this hairdressers to anyone.

I booked an appointment with Katy and DEAR GOD it PAINS me that I live an ocean away because otherwise I would be obsessed for life. I had no idea what I wanted beyond knowing that I didn't like what I had. Katy knew exactly what to do based on a few shoddily strung together adjectives - she gave me the most lovely colour job of my life, and the cut is perfect. Nearly six weeks later, it's still looking pretty great because she was so meticulous and seemed to know precisely what my hair needed and how it would fall. Worth the price all the way. Popped back in later that day for a shellac manicure which was also very well done, and I left absolutely pleased. Go let the ladies at Medusa work their magic on your hair. Seriously, go now!

There was a bride in today (congratulations, Jenny!!) and her 'up-do' put me in the mood to get married all over again! What an AMAZING job! I've never felt compelled to write a review before, but was so impressed by my whole experience today (including the peppermint tea in a tall, glass mug) that I just had to review MOD. They don't take card so it meant I knew how much I needed to bring with me before I left the house. I have very unruly super curly hair and always wanted it long but it never grew passed my shoulders. So I gave her freedom to do whatever. She made is short and so easy to maintain!!! I am going back tomorrow now three months later :) Also she does not tell me what I have to do, but works around how I treat my hair which is great. She said 'I cant train your hands', which makes sense as I am used to moving through my hair in a certain way for ages now. Having curly hair, I've been traumatised many many times since being a little girl coming from hair dressers. I have to say, this is one of the best experiences I ever had! So happy I found it!
