I visited Byron fas I had won a voucher for a hair consultation, cut & restyle with Ashley. I was a bit apprehensive, as I was happy with my regular hairdresser, but was assured by others that the salon was very good. I found the salon to be modern and clean with a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Ashley took time to assess my hair, find out what I wanted and discuss the pros and cons of different styles with me prior to having my hair washed. She also discussed the different products used and their benefits, and gave me a personalised leaflet with this information to take away. I was delighted with my haircut and made an appointment to return in 6 weeks. The location and available parking in the area is a huge plus. Also, apart form a small step at the entrance, the salon is on one level and quite spacious which allows easier access for clients who have reduced mobility. read more

Absolutely delighted with my "Byron Experience!" I've lived all over the UK and tend to walk into hairdressers spontaneously when I have the time whether it be Gatwick airport salon's, a higher end mainstream chain or whoever has a time slot! This is a very welcoming, gorgeous, luxury salon with excellent service and lots of attention to detail. There are lots of small touches to make a big difference and make you feel pampered including lovely new magazines, bean to cup coffee, clean and contemporary fresh decor and highly professional staff. It was also refreshing to be offered suggestions about the cut and style, I've found over the last 10 years hairdressers avoid this and ask what you want and avoid using their expertise! I went to Byron Hairdressing after my usual salon was closed. I was very apprehensive at going to a new hairdresser but have to say I am delighted with my new haircut. The salon is lovely and the staff really friendly and helpful. Time was taken to discuss my hair, the products I use, the best way to dry my hair etc. Another thing I liked is that when my hair was being washed I did not get asked 'where are you going on holiday' or 'are you going out tonight'. Instead I was simply allowed to sit back and relax. A good experience but more importantly I got a really good haircut (from Ronnie) which is easy to manage and looks good. I recently visited Byron Hairdressing for a new look before going on holiday. Rather daunting as I had been with my other hairdresser for around 30 years! I came out absolutely delighted, Ronnie was my stylist and the experience was fabulous from start to finish. The staff at the salon were so welcoming and time was taken to ask me what I was looking for. Ronnie explained how he would achieve my new style and I felt as if I was an old friend not a new client. Have only recently found this Salon, have never written a review in my life, but felt Byron Hairdressing is so special I would like other people to know about them. The whole team are so friendly, you feel so welcome whenever you walk in the door, and feel like a million dollars when you walk out of it! I particularly recommend them to anyone who has problems as I do, with my neck and find having my hair done very difficult. This was the only salon who were interested in helping me. I have already recommended this salon to all my friends since my visit last week. Ronnie and his team all made me feel welcome and valued as a customer. Ronnie took the time to discuss my hair before styling - not only for this first cut, but how I saw my hair style in the future. I was feeling apprehensive as this was my first hair cut since my hair regrowth after losing it through chemotherapy. I visited this salon for the first time a short while ago on recommendation. I was very pleased with my colour and styling and indeed the stylist Karolyn. The atmosphere was friendly and comfortable as well as professional. The cost was a lot less than I have paid at another local salon so overall I was delighted with my visit. Been going to Byron for a couple of years and always had an excellent cut. Then last week I decided to get some colour done. I am thrilled.
