This is a clean, spacious hairdressers with staff young and old so it doesnt have a pretentious or…read moreoffputting feel. Rendezvous is a female only hairdresser and also has a tanning booth within the premises. I was happy with the haircut I received here. I have also had my hair coloured here and I was a bit vague as to what I wanted but was happy with the outcome. The only bad point about this shop is that one of the cutting seats faces out to the window and you feel a bit on display while you get your cut! It probably wont bother most people but I felt a bit embarassed there. Another down point is that they only accept cash or cheques which can be inconvenient if you are getting something pricey done. There are cheaper places to get your hair cut in Galashiels however this place has a nice atmosphere and seems to do a consistently good job.

There is no hard sell on products or extras like you get in some salons but they do have a good range of shampoos/treatments etc available. The decor is bright and airy and is busy without feeling clutteredall in all a nice place to get your hair done!

Great hairdressers with friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Phoned up the week before to make an…read moreappointment and made sure that they knew I was coming in restricted time (lunch break). My cut was exactly what I asked for and they dried it as I asked - normally ask for no "product" but still get some mousse or gel squirted in when I am not looking. However - this time, the perfect dry with no gunk in my hair! Reasonably priced (i.e. not so low that you are terrified and not so high that you pass out in the chair!). Will definitely be going back - and soon.
