Next door to my dog groomer. The dog has a spa day and so do I. Older staff, that are good at their trade. Clean environment, in my option they use to much oil. Massage was great but do not like being oiled and lubed! The hot towel clean up did not remove the abundance of oil. read more

I found a deal on groupon for this place and it was my wife's birthday so I decided to give her a massage. I bought it send it to her and she was happy, until she tried to get what we paid for. I called to set up the appointment so all she could do is show up and enjoy her gift but I was having trouble communicating with the person on the phone and she told me she was too busy and to call back so I said ok. Then my wife calls and she told me the same thing. So I thought why not just show up right since I can't communicate with them over the phone how hard could it be in person. My wife went and called upset because they wouldn't take her in simply because she didn't make an appointment over the phone and they couldn't take her down for the next day. Like seriously how hard is it to write down an appointment. To top it off she mentioned her groupon code and they started talking Chinese to each other and said they were too busy. It was the worst massage experience. I decided to try a place nearby, and after reading the reviews thought it was a worthwhile try. As soon as my massage began, the phone rang and the lady walked out to answer it, then someone came through the front door and she again stopped and went to greet the person. The two types of massages I want, which are posted at front desk, were no longer offered according the masseuse. The elevated circle around the head made me feel chocked every time she pressed on my upper back. This is the only place that a body massage doesn't include massaging the head. Terrible! I will not be coming back. First, when I called to see if there was an opening for the same day, the woman that answered spoke limited English and was very rude. She said "yes", then silence. I went on to say I wanted a one hour massage and she responded "$40." I asked her what time is available and she said "Anytime". The exchange was very awkward, but I decided to chalk it up to the language barrier and went anyway. When I got there, a woman (Hannah) that turned out to be my masseuse came out with her mouth full of food (I guess I interrupted her lunch). She promptly collected $40 from me and ushered me into a room. Once I got on the table, she return and instead of trying to be quiet to create a relaxing atmosphere, she slammed the door and kept coughing and clearing her throat throughout the massage. The headrest was raised so every time she pressed on my upper back, my throat was painfully crushed against the table. She wasn't very skilled either. I've had deep tissue and Thai massages before so I am used to a firm pressure but whatever Hannah was doing caused me a lot of pain at moments. About 10 minutes in to the massage, I seriously considered getting up and leaving but I didn't think she'd return my money, so I stayed. In retrospect I should have just left. My body feels even worse than when I went in. Another piece of advise - don't trust the positive comments you see in their reviews. If you dig a little deeper, you'll see that the majority of them were left by individuals in Russia and it has more to do with the look of the website than any personal experience.
