There was a 30 minute window and after a long week and day of skiing I splurged on treating myself despite it only being 30 minutes. Place is warm and inviting. Small, but doesn't need to be any bigger. There is a waiting area for pre and post treatment with water, tea, and chocolate. I never got my massage therapist's name but she made thirty minutes feel like an hour. Focusing on the back and scalp I was relaxed the entire time. The hot towels were a surprise too. I talked to the owner for a bit afterwards and I initially booked a two hour slot a couple days out since I was sorta still going to be in the area. But, there was an ice storm coming and I changed my plans to head home the day before. But now I know when I get back up here to be sure to book another appointment!

Never in my life until I went to posh have I paid over 250 dollars for highlights and a cut... I had an appointment scheduled for November 9th I called and messaged the hair dresser personally to cancel the appointment on the 7th simply because I cannot afford the amount they charge. They have a 48 hour cancellation policy I called and texted the stylist 2hours outside this policy and she charged me 190 bucks and REFUSED to refund me. She said if I called 2 hours earlier she would have or if I agreed to reschedule she would give me half my money back. It wasn't until I told her I did not want to rebook that she charged me. I messaged the Facebook page to get in touch with the business owner who never responded. I then called the salon today and the owners assistant refused to let me speak to the owner about what happened. While I understand policies are in place it was extremely unprofessional of the stylist to tell me she understands things happen and then to go and charge me almost 200 bucks. Had she only charged 50 I wouldn't have minded. These actions reflect badly upon posh as not only a business but as human beings..... when someone is kind enough to call you and personally tell you that they are canceling due to finical barriers and you go and claim you understand then still take their money that's just degrading and disgusting. All I was told from the "assistant" was that "This is a very strict policy and everyone here has paycheck to make" and that "I won't listen to you call a stylist names" Mind you not once did I call names I said her actions were Grimey and unbecoming and unappealing. Not once did I even say the work she did on me previously was bad in the slightest. This is simply about affordability in a very terrible economy and about price gouging. Not once did the stylist or the assistant even attempt to resolve the issue for me not once did they even apologize either. She took the time to really look all over my scalp and hair to determine what would be best in terms of trim, plus also giving me tips on how to do proper care at home. She was gentle at the sink and even after, when detangling my hair, asking if the tension was okay or if I needed gentler touch. She did a phenomenal job making my curls pop. That's a gift. I bought the hair masque she recommended and booked my next appointment. I see she does manicures and pedicures, too. Definitely will book the latter after ski boot season! The salon was super clean, modern, and has a great array of products and services. They have excellent COVID procedures in place as well. She's a gem and I highly recommend both her and the salon.

Do NOT give me roots, because I will not keep up with covering gray hair." I told her that in two weeks were my 30th college reunion and a big family event I wanted to look especially good for. Well, the stylist did exactly what I said *not* to do. Partway through the process, there were so many foils that I said, "It looks like you're putting color on too much of my hair." She said she wasn't, and explained her process in stylist-ese that I didn't understand. The next morning revealed that she'd given me roots that started four inches from my scalp. From there to the ends, all my hair was colored! When I tied it up, it looked like I had on a cap of gray/brown hair with a multicolored ponytail attached to it. Yuck, clown time! I called the stylist and asked her to please, please get me back in for a repair. At this point, she had the opportunity to make me a loyal customer for life, if only she'd said, "I'm so sorry we misunderstood each other. Let's get you in and make it right." But no, she was defensive and deflective. She couldn't get me in before I left for my reunion/family trip, but then she said that she prefers to keep any color "adjustments" to within two weeks of the original color appointment. She took zero responsibility for the misunderstanding. She never once said she was sorry or tried to empathize. She even corrected the word "repair" to "adjustment." She tried to blame me, saying, "I asked you to bring pictures of what you wanted." When I then showed her photos, she said, "I guess I don't understand what you're looking for." Also, this stylist finishes other people's sentences. Not only is that annoying when I'm conversing with her, but it makes me think she isn't into listening to others. Fortunately, I found a wonderful local stylist (Side Porch Salon) who gives me awesome fun streaks of purple, etc., and Orbit in Burlington, where Kerry knows just how to cut my long, curly hair.
