She takes everything I say into consideration and uses her professional lens to interpret that into perfect hair, every time! The whole team is excellent and she does an amazing job delegating so you're always in good hands. They keep excellent records of your visits, services, products you've tried and enjoyed, etc. Appointment management is incredibly easy and they are consistently accommodating and helpful. The atmosphere of the salon is relaxing and very well kept. The retail space is well curated and enjoyable, and she brings in products she truly believes in and wears herself. The in house café is also a lovely addition and is equally well curated. Location is easily accessible and there's almost always parking right out front. Pricing is transparent and reasonable. The team-style business model means you're never being pushed into a service for a higher commission rather than your benefit, and everyone on the team is on the same page (no competing for clients, etc). Every visit, I feel well taken care of from the moment I walk in to the moment I leave, and fully trust all of the stylists to act in my best interest. Cannot recommend them highly enough!

But when she is not in a good mood, BEWARE. Or don't say anything negative about her work. She cut my hair way too short despite I showed her the photo of the cut I wanted. When she asked what I think of the cut, I said "it's ok, just a bit shorter than I thought?" - that made her into rage, saying "Do you want me to pick up hair on the floor and glue them back?!?!" - It was over a decade ago, but according to other reviewers, this has not been changed. Verbally abusive is right. I just cannot imagine any hair stylist would say something like her. I would not recommend. Because one day, it may be your turn to get her rage on you. I went in for some fun streaks of color. My husband was there and remembers me carefully repeating…read moreto the stylist, "Just a few colorful streaks. Do NOT give me roots, because I will not keep up with covering gray hair." I told her that in two weeks were my 30th college reunion and a big family event I wanted to look especially good for. Well, the stylist did exactly what I said *not* to do. Partway through the process, there were so many foils that I said, "It looks like you're putting color on too much of my hair." She said she wasn't, and explained her process in stylist-ese that I didn't understand. The next morning revealed that she'd given me roots that started four inches from my scalp. From there to the ends, all my hair was colored! When I tied it up, it looked like I had on a cap of gray/brown hair with a multicolored ponytail attached to it. Yuck, clown time! I called the stylist and asked her to please, please get me back in for a repair. At this point, she had the opportunity to make me a loyal customer for life, if only she'd said, "I'm so sorry we misunderstood each other. Let's get you in and make it right." But no, she was defensive and deflective. She couldn't get me in before I left for my reunion/family trip, but then she said that she prefers to keep any color "adjustments" to within two weeks of the original color appointment. She took zero responsibility for the misunderstanding. She never once said she was sorry or tried to empathize. She even corrected the word "repair" to "adjustment." She tried to blame me, saying, "I asked you to bring pictures of what you wanted." When I then showed her photos, she said, "I guess I don't understand what you're looking for." Also, this stylist finishes other people's sentences. Not only is that annoying when I'm conversing with her, but it makes me think she isn't into listening to others. Fortunately, I found a wonderful local stylist (Side Porch Salon) who gives me awesome fun streaks of purple, etc., and Orbit in Burlington, where Kerry knows just how to cut my long, curly hair.

I went to this business throughout the summer on multiple occasions to get color and a cut and…read morehighlights. They over charge A TON. Never in my life until I went to posh have I paid over 250 dollars for highlights and a cut... I had an appointment scheduled for November 9th I called and messaged the hair dresser personally to cancel the appointment on the 7th simply because I cannot afford the amount they charge. They have a 48 hour cancellation policy I called and texted the stylist 2hours outside this policy and she charged me 190 bucks and REFUSED to refund me. She said if I called 2 hours earlier she would have or if I agreed to reschedule she would give me half my money back. It wasn't until I told her I did not want to rebook that she charged me. I messaged the Facebook page to get in touch with the business owner who never responded. I then called the salon today and the owners assistant refused to let me speak to the owner about what happened. While I understand policies are in place it was extremely unprofessional of the stylist to tell me she understands things happen and then to go and charge me almost 200 bucks. Had she only charged 50 I wouldn't have minded. These actions reflect badly upon posh as not only a business but as human beings..... when someone is kind enough to call you and personally tell you that they are canceling due to finical barriers and you go and claim you understand then still take their money that's just degrading and disgusting. All I was told from the "assistant" was that "This is a very strict policy and everyone here has paycheck to make" and that "I won't listen to you call a stylist names" Mind you not once did I call names I said her actions were Grimey and unbecoming and unappealing. Not once did I even say the work she did on me previously was bad in the slightest. This is simply about affordability in a very terrible economy and about price gouging. Not once did the stylist or the assistant even attempt to resolve the issue for me not once did they even apologize either. The fact that a 2 hour gap is all that mattered says a lot to me about the lack of compassion and professionalism of this business Please see pictures attached for evidence

I guess i got the wrong stylist (and I use that term loosely). Heini certainly didn't listen to…read moreme. I had explained I don't usually blow dry my hair, and was working towards growing out a choppy cut and re-establishing my long, blended layers that gave some body and texture to my hair. After the just OK cut (meh), she insisted on blowing my hair dry (over my objection), saying she couldn't otherwise tell if it was even (really?). Alright, not going to waste time over that issue because there was no turning back, but I specifically asked that she not "style" my hair (drying = OK, styling = not OK). For some reason (spite?) she then proceeded to create (with a large round brush - another indication this was not a good thing) a very dated and unflattering "style" that looked like something a 70 year old Republican woman in a Dallas mall might sport, or maybe a 1980s junior high school student's failed hair styling attempt for the spring dance. If you don't look BETTER and feel BETTER when you leave a salon, that's a problem. Neither were true with this encounter. Hair went back up with a clip until I could get home, wash out the smelly hair product (shouldn't stylists ask before they put some potential allergen into your hair?) and dry my hair to look natural and reasonably attractive. And did I mention the cut was pricey too? I guess it was the (un)luck of the draw, this salon has a lot of other stylists and my experience could have been positive. It wasn't.
